This is a 1 vs 16 type game. Prayers to northwest, some people think harvest prep will be playing for region 19.

Congrats. We can all make shirts that say playoffs but the meaning is not the same and this is gonna get ugly. Good job OHSAA. This is no fault of the boys of course. Go out and play hard but this is not a good prize for the Mohawks.

Good luck to Northwest this weekend. Glad to see them get to playoffs despite all the early injuries and get one more game for their kids.*

I don’t count the playoffs till next week. 9-16 should not be there. But interested in seeing some upsets

Can maybe see your point with West, but Burg is a 5 seed and SOC II champs. Playoffs ain’t no handout for them.*

I agree 100%
This was done all over money and now some of these programs are going to suffer. Great job OHSAA, way to think about the kids first.🤦🏻‍♂️ Prayers to NW, hope they and complete injury free.

Yeah we shouldn't be in either? Never did I claim we should.

I had a discussion about these types of games and we both agreed that sadly it could lead to someone being seriously injured after the game gets out of hand.

Most of these really low seeds have been rung up a few times this year. Unfortunately it won't be anything new for most of them. Northwest didn't have a great s.o.s this year so their worst loss was by 24, with a little luck it might be close to that, with a running clock these games don't generally get much worse than 35 or 40.

Hoping Northwest can come out of this one injury free, it's ridiculous that we've opened the playoffs to these types of games by going to 16. It will be very interesting to see the scores that come out of this weekend from these top seeded teams.

On a more positive note it gets kids an extra week of practice and builds chemistry among the team and further development. While I agree this will probably be a stinker of a match up

The schedule NW plays all season puts them behind the 8 ball this time of year.
Good luck to the Mohawks. Give it all you have.

They’ve gotten way too used to playing the tiny tiny schools in the SOC 1.

Northwest should opt-out. What is in it for them? More experience? They have plenty of experience getting beat by teams their size. Shame they cant play a school half their size like Green, East or Notre Dame.
#dontgiveuptheship or be smart enough to know the ship is sinking and jump off!
Shame these boys are being put into a bad situation by coaches and school administration. I wish these boys luck and pray nobody gets hurt.
