I like Valley and Wheelersburg for a close up view of the game.

Only two other stadiums south of 70, east of 23 with turf that I know of are Hamilton Township and Bloom-Carroll.

Mud on top of an old city dump in the midst of a flood plain which has flooded scores of times since 1948. Approx. 5 miles from the new school. The new school opened in the fall of 2009. Nice gym which never has any people there except when they play River Valley  ..And Graduation.. :) .. No real weight room. No locker facilities. Have a nice track!! Softball and baseball field. a political hornets nest that went horribly wrong.

Do they or don't they have turf?
That's what this topic is about.

I think if you factor in view, seating , parking, nostalgia, tiger alley, the atmosphere, the enourmous flag, the covered homeside, the banners, the scoreboard, the new turf, the old locker rooms, the fact it is an ole pro stadium, I don't think you can top the setting at tank's memorial stadium. but Jackson has awesome facilities as well. been along time since I been at Zanesville. and I can't stand lancasters. I also enjoy Portsmouth and the burg, but the visitor seating at both wasn't well thought out.

I read in the local Jackson County paper over the weekend that Jackson will be getting their field which was a skating rink this past season replaced soon after the first of the year. Think the number was about $300k if i recall correctly.

Unrelated, but some have speculated that down the road when Coach Carpenter retires that there may be a chance donations will pull in from alumni of Carpenter and Lancaster Fulton Field could get turf down the road.
