Can't have any turnovers and spot them a couple scores, not how we are built this year. The natural turf won't be a disadvantage to us at all imo.

Burg needs to play like they did against Waverly. Control the ball by controlling the LOS. Need a low scoring game as well. Also, keep the Wood receivers in front of them. Nothing deep, nothing behind them. Keep their offense on the sideline as long as possible.

Burg can win this game.

Waverly offense over all better than wood. I think they mirror Portsmouth offensively

Just curious, why did Burg play Ridgewood at RW last year??? Burg finished 3rd and Wood finished 5th in the region.

Harbin Computer Points were not used since everybody got in. It was just a tournament draw like basketball or baseball. I believe Ironton got the #1 seed and Wood got the #2 seed.

Gotcha!!!!

Wished this game was at a neutral site so it could be halfway!! That is a long drive either way. Lancaster would have been a nice halfway point.

Only fair since the Wood had to make the trip to Burg in 07, 10, and 16. Yep long trip any way you slice it.

Yes, long drive but worth it! The prettiest natural field I've seen in a long time. Also, what a great atmosphere for a high school football game. Especially the locals and the fireworks!!

Unfortunately….mayor banned fireworks at Wood games. Maybe some locals will disobey the order this week!

Burg didn't play at Wood last year it was at a neutral site because Burg played Ridgewood in the 2nd round last year which meant a neutral site . I dont think that the Burg has ever played at Ridgewood

Anything is possible. I however think Ironton is the class of the region and I’ve seen every team either live or on YouTube.
Agree always watch the teams who I think will challenge us through the year as much as possible and to me a completely healthy Harvest Prep provides the biggest threat in my opinion but burg in a rematch week 13 wouldn’t be a gimme just because it’s a rivalry game and all that

Incorrect… the game was at Ridgewood. Due to the totally messed up year due to covid, games through regional finals were at higher seeded teams field. Game was at Ridgewood. Then the next week the Generals went to Ironton.

Just for the record Burg did play in Ridgewood last year and lost 13 to 10 then the following week Ridgewood traveled down to Ironton and lost I believe 17 to 7
