Oak Hill football 2022

Post by Johnboy36 »

Where did all the players go? I saw maybe 15 out the other day.

I hear numbers dropped back off when certain people came back on coaching staff after the last coaching change. I remember when it was nothing for the Oaks to have well over 40 out but I guess times have changed.

Well over 40? Heck I remember in the old SVAC days when they rolled 60+ off of the three busses they brought. Looked like an army. :o

It was a well coached army back then for sure.

We got rid of the drama on the staff.

I heard alot of kids not playing. Qb supposedly transferred to Jackson to play his senior year, linebacker transferred to vinton, and possibly 1 to valley. What's going on?

Really nice WSAZ coverage of the new coach the way things are coming along. If they give this guy a chance. He sure seems to be just the man to get Oak Hill to where they wanna be eventually in the SOC. Won’t be easy getting there. But he seems to have just the vibe to help get the Oaks there. Good Luck to the southern Jackson Countians……

Andy Ordenor in the late ‘90s under Barthemlow was one of the best athletes this county has ever produced and Barts team Wer pretty competitive during those years.

Love this. Great hire, plenty of coaching experience. Kratz is a great guy, played under Lutz at Ironton, you can see that translating in the video.
He will do well by the kids, as far as winning football games, it'll be tough with that school district moving back into SOC II.
