1. How hard are guys with D1 offers gonna play? Are they gonna play to not get hurt or win?
2. Keeping guys happy. Getting enough touches.
3. Line play.
4. Are some of those guys really accomplished high school players or are they guys with measurables?
5. How will they handle adversity when things don’t go their way and they aren’t winning in the 4th?

I think these are legit questions. Sometimes the most talented isn’t the best player or team. One thing we’ve seen over the last couple years is Pendleton isn’t a great play caller. His best offenses have been get in the Bone and run Carrico. There are not any Carrico’s on this team nor do they have the line to play this style.
Ironton has a 6'1" 200+ pound back. Or did you forget about Jaquez Keyes? You don't get an offer to play RB at Wisconsin without being darn good. Run him 30 times a game and throw just enough to keep the defense honest.

I hope we get Maria Stein somewhere along the way. They are ALWAYS a tough out

Ironton gotta make sure he gets the ball, unlike that last game of the season.

Ironton has made 36 Playoff Appearances

State Semifinals in 1973, 1975, 1979, 1982, 1985, 1988, 1989, 1992, 1993, 1995, 1999, 2019, and 2020.

State Runner Up in 1973, 1982, 1988, 1992, 1993, 1999, 2019, and 2020.

State Champions in 1979 and 1989.

Getting there is special. Winning it all just doesn’t happen too often. If you include Southern Fairfield County and Perry County, 8 teams have won a State Title in the SE Region: Crooksville 1977, Ironton 1979, Nelsonville-York 1981, Ironton 1989, Wheelersburg 1989, Amanda Clearcreek 1999, Amanda Clearcreek 2000, and Wheelersburg 2017.
