Is Marietta the only winnable game left on the schedule? Very disappointing year so far.

Stay on that horse when we aren’t playing a team full of 15 year olds. Sure, it’s been disappointing. To say we have bad players just isn’t accurate. Our senior class is bad. Sophomores and freshmen, not so much. They won’t be that way forever. Ideally, they wouldn’t be playing right now but they’re the best we have.

I thought their best player (Williams) and QB (Taylor) were both juniors? And yet no mention of the JR class…telling.

Vinton County will beat Warren by at least 3 TD’s.

I’m not really sure what your angle is, but here is some information:

Williams has played in 3 games this year and missed time in 2 of those.

Aside from Williams, Warren returned 12 lettermen this year and will probably see 21 kids letter this year:
- 2 seniors
- 7 juniors (5 who lettered last year and 2, maybe 3 playing the same position as last year)
- 10 sophomores (5 who lettered last year and 2, maybe 3 playing the same position as last year)
- 2 freshmen

Defensive starters - 2 seniors, 2 juniors, 6 sophs, 1 freshman
66% of the rushing/receiving yardage comes from freshmen/sophomores

Their entire O-line is new from last year and the D-line has 3 sophomores starting. That’s an ingredient for losses in any division.

Tough to win with that many young kids playing.
