This game will be more Fort Frye pace. PP loves to play smash mouth football like Fort. Evan Roach Qb for the Big Blacks is a stud.

I don’t see Point beating FF.

At some point. FF can’t duck Jackson , Ironton , Burg.

They got out of playing Jackson back door which is why and how the Jackson/Tri-Valley game came to be. FF backed out. And took Tri Valley calling Jackson to find out. FF will take care of point pleasant.

The cadets are for real folks. But they need matchups with Jackson , Ironton, Burg programs.

FF rolls on towards that trophy headed for their trophy case.

Fort Frye already plays one of the hardest schedules in their division.

All of those teams are bigger schools and beating everyone on their level. Why would they drive 2-3 hours to play down to D 6?

Ahhhh absolutely ZERO knock on the cadets. they do play a brutal schedule. And they 110% backed on a game that was penciled in against Jackson. Most dominant programs wanna play the other dominant programs. If FF is gonna claim to be one of the premier SEO programs (as they have built) play the other programs that already sit atop that throne. And when they get one of em scheduled don’t back door out and let another team call to inform you that FF dropped your game.

Fort Frye never said they would play Jackson. They said they would consider it while they look for other options. They decided to play Zanesville instead which was a brutal game. Fort picked Zanesville because it was a home game. Jackson would have been an away game. Fort already had 6 away games they really needed a home game. Jackson would not destroy Fort this year teams are actually pretty even. Jackson lost TV and TV is actually down this year. TV barely beat New Lex. Heck even Morgan only lost 42-21. Fort Frye beat Morgan 45-6 while the Varsity was on during foundation game. Trust me Fort is not ducking.

Mount Union doesn't play Akron or Kent, but they are still Mount Union.

Is Fort Frye recovered from playing Zanesville yet?

The last two years, they've played St Henry, Lima Central, and Linsly - premiere schools in their division.

No Keegan is still out and Powell still has a club on his hand.

Keegans tackling ability has really been missed.

Should be getting Morgan Smith the teams nose from last year back soon that will be huge. Also Keegan should be back by playoffs meaning the Cadets can move Owen back to safety.

Point Pleasant has a two headed monster in Roach at QB and Jeffers at TB. Point Pleasant also has a a very good TE in Schultz who was the preseason ranked 1 TE by Coalfields. They have Dave Darst as their coach. He’s currently 126-44 with a AA State Runner Up in 2011 and a State Appearance in 2015, too. This should be a really good game.

I can't quote ED'spy, but there's your answer. Part of playoff preparation is playing quality competition. But also, part of it is showing up healthy.

The Cadets have a lot of players playing both ways.

I would say fort has toughened there schedule as much as they can and still finish the season healthy, with so much success why are there not boys out for the cadets

Both teams beat warren by about the same margin, but I would be surprised if fort doesn’t win this one by 2-3 scores

Would be a good measuring stick of Jackson vs a state team. Sucks Fort Frye is in a loaded division. 3 defending state champs, Kirtland, and Fort Frye

Dumbest thing I ever read and that’s saying something on this forum. Why does a small school like Ft Frye “need” to play Jackson or Wheelersburg? Ironton might have a similar enrollment but different demographics. That would be a fun matchup.

Could be a very good ballgame. Let's hope for an injury free game for both teams. Neither team can afford any more long -term injuries.

Is Gavin Jeffers and Cody Schultz out for the season? They didn’t play Vs Warren.
