This one has "Big Ugly" written all over it. Vikings win this one by a bunch.

Unfortunately, I don't see a repeat of last year's game.

Will be more competitive than some may believe. VC hasn’t played a team like FF or Point. Judging us off those games is misleading.

Vinton hasn’t played half the schedule that Warren has. If Williams plays, Warren will win.

Warren’s schedule is really tough. Their record is misleading. This will be a good game.

“Not that bad”…have you watched them play? This one could get ugly.

I don't see this one being ugly. Warren is better than Athens and the Dawgs gave Vinton County a respectable game. As stated, Warren's schedule has been tough with Fort Frye and Point Pleasant. Got to see Williamstown last night for the first time and they are the real deal. Morgan is much improved as well. Not saying Warren wins, but I think it will be close. Rooting for the Warriors to get it done though.

VC won't vote to let Warren in the TVC, but plays them in virtually every sport. Go figure. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Obviously boss. You haven’t seen them play either. They are basically a JV team playing really good varsity teams. If Vinton played Warrens schedule to date they’d have identical records. Period!

Vc hasn’t played Warren in a regular season game in basketball since I believe the early 2000’s. I would have to check to find the year. This will also be the first trip to Warren for the football team since the mid 80’s. So that statement is a little misleading. This series only happened due to the late non conference week and it won’t be on the schedule next year as Warren starts TSL play. It may be another 35 years before we go back there. That’s the reason VC voted no.

This game will definitely be a battle. Just like last year. It could go either way.

VC came into this game last year with only one loss on the season and Warren only had 2 wins. Warren dominated the second half on their way to a 27-12 victory. VC will not be overlooking the warriors with their record this year. The Vikings are out for revenge in this game and I expect it to be another good game between the two. Hopefully the Vikings can pull out the win and come back to McArthur 5-2 and keep that winning streak alive.

Have you looked at any factors outside of final scores against teams that have a combined 3 losses? We’re 7 points away from being 3-3, and the conversation is totally different. You’re basing your evaluation of a young team on losses to one of the best teams in SEO and two of the better teams in their classes in WV. They played a better than we thought Morgan team (not to mention older) to the end and lost close to a not great, but senior dominated Logan team. Not trying to justify moral victories, but we’ve been competitive with teams on our level. Nothing against VC, but they haven’t played a fraction of that schedule.
