I think I’ll take Wheelersburg in this one.

It’s close the first 2 minutes but burg pulls away for a running clock

It may be close but I think that Oak Hill has a better band than the Burg.

Burgs band was great tonight. It will be close.

I can't see this being close. Valley destroyed the Oaks last night. I'd say the 2nd half starts with a running clock.

Agree! Just joking about the Band. Game will be very one sided.

Oak Hill has beaten Wheelersburg once since the Eisenhower administration in 2010, 29-22.

Oak Hill has scored 20 points since then in the series and has been outscored 418-20. Burg rolls.

I think I read on the Valley/Oak Hill thread that The Oaks only dressed about 18 kids. If true, it’s going to be even tougher on them this week.

Is it time for oak hill to go back down SOC 1?

Have I heard that they are? I was thinking next years schedule had Northwest but no Oak Hill?

Always enjoy the half time shows from every school's band. Those kids work hard and only get a few minutes on Friday night's to show it off. Not enough recognition given to those young folks.

I looked on Arbiter and both Northwest and Oak Hill on next year’s schedule if accurate.

Man did I see where OH has numbers around the 20 mark? When they were in SOC1 and just destroying teams they had numbers in the 40-45 range easy.

In this past weekend's game between Valley and Oak Hill, I read where someone posted that OH had 18 or 19 players. I have a friend whose son plays for OH. In the Pre-Season Jackson newspaper, I remember him showing me that OH had 25 or 26 kids on their roster. You are right, that in the past few seasons, I'm pretty sure that they have had 40-45 kids on their roster.

I remember being told that Oak Hill had low numbers in the lower levels of the program when they were in their final years of the SOC1. It was an issue they had across sports, pretty sure they had to combine their middle school girls basketball teams and had no JV games the last few years and might be looking at a varsity team of 7-8 girls this year which is crazy.

Numbers all go back to coaching staff. kids don't like them, they won't play.
