Do you think he would sacrifice a shot at another state title just so his sons could both play? 😂😂😂 Schools like Kirtland and Marion Local don’t play daddy ball.
Finally some logic!!!

Kid didn’t do great, but it’s doubtful Kirtland had anyone else who’d do better.
Thompson High School in Alabama just won there 4th straight state title with a back up QB named Trent Seaborn that is a 14 year old 8th grader. So age and grade doesn’t always matter. He threw for 207 yards and 5 touchdowns with one interception in the championship game

You guys can't run it well enough against them to stay on the field, you guys are used to those long drives
Easier said than done
True but that's also why you can't wear them down, you guys are used to controlling the LOS and that didn't happen so there's no way you were going to wear them down. Plus, it's a MAC school they're used to getting down and nasty in the trenches.

Then why skip his Sr son at qb to have the freshman son play qb? They were undefeated and beat one helluva schedule. People judging him playing against that defense is laughable. Laverde would never do that to his team or his players.

notes about marion local and the mac…

More state titles (13) than all-time OHSAA playoff game losses (12)
All-time OHSAA playoff record of 96-12
Current winning streak is at 32 straight games, after two straight 16-0 seasons
Owns 6 undefeated OHSAA state playoff championship seasons, tying St. Ignatius and Moeller for the most
Their 13th OHSAA state title gave their league, the vaunted Midwest Athletic Conference, 40 state championships all-time. New Bremen's win later Saturday gave the MAC 41 titles.

Congratulations to Kirtland on beating a bunch of teams by 30 + this season. Running the ball a lot when you have giant linemen up and down the depth chart is very impressive. Nobody else in Division VI can figure out how to grow so many giant football players, so you definitely have that. Keep up the great work!

Really hoping this is another of your sarcastic posts. If not, better buy a program and actually look at height and weight. Again, tough to tell if sarcasm or not. Hoping it is because if it isn't it's completely the wrong take this year

Neither team, as I’m sure you know, was huge up front in the state final. FF’s first team offensive line was probably bigger as a unit than both of them. 200lbs+strong+quick = hard to handle. That’s what struck me about ML, was how unremarkable they are physically at first glance.
