Ironton - SO Shaun Terry - 3 Star by 247Sports

Post by ohbuckeye2 »

:x Congratulations to Irontons Shaun Terry on his 3 Star Rating as a WR by 247Sports. He’s ranked the #68 WR in the Country for the 2025 Class. Expect that ranking to go higher as he progresses the next couple years. This young man has worked his tail off the last couple years and it paying off. He’s going to be fun to watch the next couple years at Ironton and beyond.

Shaun has the speed to go with being a great WR, he officially clocked a 4.4 40 today.

4.4 laser time I highly doubt it. The kid is fast but he’s not 4.4 fast

He’s definitely gotten faster and stronger from last season. Right now he’s the #68 WR in his class according to 247Sports, look for him to rise in those rankings the next two years.

P.S. you need to retire and get back up here to watch these amazing Fighting Tigers, it’s a special time in Tigertown my friend.

Yes, 4.4 laser time, unless the dang laser wasn’t calibrated 😁

What camp was he at today to get that time?

I remember watching Jermon Jackson and thought he was fast, but found that he ran a 4:6 40 at Ohio State, I couldn’t believe it. I thought for sure he was faster than 4:6. Shaun has worked his tail off and he looks faster to me . I know what the laser said, that’s all that matters lol.

I doubt it was laser, If he’s 180lbs running that fast every major college will be at ironton this summer checking this kid out. I think Ironton has 2-3 coaches with stop watches when they do speed testing. He’s probably a legit 4.5 laser but I think his most impressive ability is being explosive and making guys miss.

That’s why I asked if it was laser. 4.4 laser is very rare for a high school kid

I guess you all will have to just watch and see what he does his JR season, he’s definitely picked up speed and strength. He’s going to be fun to watch the next couple years.

I don’t think anyone is questioning his speed. We know he’s fast but your saying he ran a 4.4 laser. That is very rare for a high school kid if you know anything about combines

Ja’Marr Chase ran a 4.38 in the combine. That should tell you something

The kid is very explosive on the football field though. Makes a lot of kids miss him with his quickness. The kid is going to be very good. Not taking that away from him

Ok, if you say so lol. He must be a 4:8, does that work better for you lol. I’m not the one who timed him lol.

The videos I've seen posted of Ironton doing their running after school is of Pendleton using a stopwatch. As he showed Pittman running a 4.56 there 2-3 weeks ago. Thinking K. Wilburn from Nelsvonville York was the last true 4.4 guy that was lasered at the OU camp going into his senior year. Also kind of curious as the camps are really just now starting up how he would've earned his 3rd star, I know Pendleton puts a ton of time in getting his guys recognized so I'm guessing that's how it's happened. Because basing things off of his stats last year and with nothing going on yet in terms of camps would've been no evaluations put together to get it yet.

Terry was Irontons most explosive athlete last year. Think he scored a TD every 3 touches. He was the fastest kid on team from watching game speed last year too. He returns kicks and punts as well. The rankings seem to be based off of film, camp and what school the prospect attends. Terry had several big plays last year though. His highlight tape is excellent.

On Wheelersburg football website it has E Lattimore running a 4.35 40 as an All time Burg record. I doubt that was laser
