Some noteable moves:
Dover down to d3
Sheridan, and Jonathan Alder down to d4.
New Lexington down to d5
Garaway down to d6, and Newark Catholic up to d6 both join R23.
Marion Local down to d7

So ML wins the state championship in D6 and then gets moved down to D7. Yay for competitive balance LOL

ML moving to D7?

Well, I can confidently pick one team that’s winning a title this coming season.

No doubt. That's pretty much a sure bet.

As long as I can remember I don't believe Sheridan was ever below 3...... I'm 99% sure of it. And if you actually look at the MVL schools their enrollment has been pretty consistent. I know they were close to D4 last year and their CB # was actually lower last year, which tells me it has more to do with the shifting schools around them more so than their actual numbers. Sheridan and New Lex are both the biggest schools in D4 and D5, I bet NL wishes they were D5 with the team they had last year.

Newark Catholic out of 27? That should balance the field in the region. How does Dover drop? Steubenville still in IV.

i could not e er recall Sheridan being D4 as well

entirely way too many times. a Jackson/Sheridan football playoff game was to happen that never did. and. i’m not certain they ever have played.

i don’t know what they have to go against there in that area for regional championship as much as I do when they were
DIII Region11
gosh that i thought for decades has steadily been one of the toughest divions to play in all divisions of OHSAA play off football.

will sheridan be able to compete at a high level immediately?
