Harvest Prep's result against Center Grove will tell a great deal about where everybody stands.

Center Grove has been as advertised. They are the No. 1-rated team in all of Indiana and defeated national powerhouses Oakland (Tenn.) and Louisville Trinity (Ky.) convincingly, 28-0 and 34-7 and then defeated Moeller by a 35-34 margin in overtime. Only loss was a respectable 27-10 defeat to St. Edward who is ranked in the national top-20 by every outlet.

I expect Center Grove to pick up a sizeable victory by way of running clock Friday evening, but that's why they play the game.

Agree with the running clock, however, if HP pulls the win, might as well give them the region 19 trophy now.

HP also has ASVSM coming up as well. Playing these big schools, HP just needs to survive the season…
