PV by 1-2 scores. Piketon’s defense isn’t great but they can score some points on PV

I just don't believe Piketon is good enough in the trenches to beat PV. Think these last 2 weeks have really exposed Piketon for their flaws. PV by 2-3 scores. Given who Piketon has beaten and the 2 total wins they have and Southeastern with 1 win and Adena with 1 win this PV game might be a MUST win for them to have a shot at the playoffs. Currently sitting 20th in their region.

Piketon honestly just hadn’t played anyone in beginning of year. I hope Piketon wins this but believe they are just a year or so away from being real good. But good luck

Agree, Piketon was getting a little bit too much hype early in the season. PV has put up some high scores lately, I do not see Piketon being able to keep up with them. But as far as the league goes I think the U will give them a run for their money.

I'm not there with PV yet as the favorite, I think Unioto, ZT or PV can take the league and are standing on equal ground as I see it. I also believe Unioto and ZT both offer much more resistance to the running attack then any other opponent outside of West Jeff. McClain was a close one throughout most of that game. If I had to rank them for the league right now I'd probably put Unioto and PV as 1 and 1A, and ZT right behind simply because of the lack of offense. ZT has started to put the points up last few weeks but hasn't been against great defenses, I think ZT with the new coach and new QB has really benefited from not playing Unioto and PV until late in the season has helped them start to work things out.

Paint Valley takes this one. As for the SVC I think it’s unioto. When their offense clicks they’re hard to stop, throw in the takeaways they can create on defense leads me think they can win it. Not ruling out PV or ZT however

Welp Piketon was up 24-0 with 20 seconds left in the first half. They’re now down 28-24 with 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

Piketon went from up 24-0 and the game looks to be over with PV winning 49-30

Two plays turned this game. Piketon got stopped on fourth down in the first half deep in PV territory when they had a shot at going up 3 scores, then gave up a long touchdown right before half. PV started every second half drive in Piketon territory, and took advantage of the defensive aggressiveness and focus on Robertson to score on 3 long qb runs.

The momentum turned so quickly it isn’t even funny.

Wow, quite the collapse in the second half for Piketon. PV I think wins this matchup 8 out of 10 times, just think they are a more complete team at this point. But I imagine the way they lost, it is going to be hard to sleep tonight for Piketon.

Theres a chance Piketon could miss the playoffs with 3 losses, which would be impressive to do with the expansion.
