With what Burg did to Waverly last night, they should be a big favorite against Minford. But it is dangerous to compare scores and it always seems like Minford plays out of their minds against Burg at their place!

Minford got back on the winning side of things last night against Logan, however their offense simply doesn't matchup with Burgs defense. Look for a running clock in this one.

Wasn't intended to be but Oak Hill canceled on Minford so they had to push their Homecoming back until the Burg game because Minford was saddled with 4 straight away games after the Oak Hill cancel. Burg was simply the next home game available

idk the most recent time but i remember in 2011 Northwest scheduled their homecoming for the burg game because "burg was down" and "this is our year, we have Luke Brown"

35-7 lol

I'll take that action, Minford's OL/DL will have zero ability to hold up to Burgs front. Game won't be close I don't care how many times Minford has dug in and made it a game, not this year as I think Burg just has a huge advantage along the line.

Burg with the running clock. Lining up and running the ball like they did in 2nd half of HP game is the blueprint for this team in the playoffs.

Disappointing season for Minford...really thought they’d be in the conversation with Burg and West for SOC championship this year. Win over Burg would obviously salvage it, but just don’t see it happening.*

I’m in the cautiously optimistic for a blow out camp. Falcons seem to bow up at home against us quite often. Can’t wait to find out.

Might not see a pass from the Burg in this one.

Burg has the toughest front half of the season schedule. They are typically the most prepared to run the table in the SOC. It'll come down to the Sider game, not this one.

Yeah you will, Burg is still trying to transition to a bit more balance and they know come playoff time you do need that threat of the pass these are the types of games you continue to work on those types of things. They might not throw a ton but don't be surprised to see close to 8-10 passes in this one.

I may be wrong, but I can see the Pirates pretty much being able to name the score.
