Huge MVL Big School Game. Sheridan enters at 8-0 overall and 4-0 in the MVL Big and TV enters 6-2 and 3-0 in the MVL Big.

A Sheridan win clinches the title outright, a Tri-Valley win puts them in position to share the title with a win over JG in week 10.

TV is right on the borderline of hosting a first round playoff game in R11, a win would be huge in securing a home game. As for Sheridan they have likely already secured two home games. A win would more than likely clinch the 1 seed in R15.

Common Opponents
Sheridan 48 Maysville 0
TV 38 Maysville 13

Sheridan 33 Philo 0
TV 52 Philo 35

Sheridan 62 River View 0
TV 59 River View 0

Big Rivals, Should be an outstanding game between two very good teams. I'll give a slight edge to Sheridan.

This has become the premier rivalry in the conference as both teams have out classed the rest of the league. TV went out and really tested themselves in out of conference games, Sheridan played some good competition as well and handled themselves. This is going to be a great one.

Sheridan 21
TV 17

I don’t know the exact numbers but Sheridan has really struggled with TV at Sheridan the past 10 or so years. I think Coach Culver will make sure the Red Rage is well aware of this and ends the struggles. Sheridan wins 21-14.

TV is 10-5 in the last 15. But Sheridan is 2-1 recently.

Last time Sheridan beat TV at home was 2005. TV is on an 8 game win streak at Sheridan.

This has become quite the rivalry and probably the game I am taking in. Sheridan is a great program.

Tri-Valley's junior class is absolutely loaded. Next year should be one of the best years in school history.

Sheridan is very talented. I would be picking Tri-Valley without hesitation but I fear the TV players not in pads for this game might be too much for TV to overcome.

Still pulling for TV to win their 8th game in a row AT Sheridan.

Sheridan dominated the first quarter. Definitely came out way more fired up than Tri-Valley. Up 3-0 late in the 1st, Sheridan picked off a pass and while it was being run back along the Sheridan sideline, #20 (running back and one of their best players) standing near the midfield logo looked toward the TV sideline/team and crowd and swished around an imaginary sword and with emphasis put it in the imaginary scabbard (holster for a sword). I saw it. My son on the sideline saw it. Stupid to poke the bear (or in this case scottie dawg). Sheridan did score to go up 10-0, but from that point on the game had a different feel.

Tri-Valley scored on the next 2 drives and Sheridan couldn't get anything going. 14-10 TV at half.

In the 3rd quarter both defenses stood up. Sheridan did break through with a TD but they earned every yard.

Then 4th quarter the Tri-Valley linemen took over. Controlled the LOS on both sides of the ball. When Sheridan had to pass at the end of the game Tri-Valley rushed 3 guys and Sheridan's line could not stop them. The Generals QB was running for his life and hit as he threw on most passes. Tri-Valley scored two TDs. The second TD was about a 15 yard run (1 play) after Sheridan went 4 and out.

Tri-Valley was the better team. Sheridan is a really good team and I wish them well in the playoffs.

As I said earlier, TV's team is a junior laden team. Yes there are some good/great senior receivers/DBs/LBs, but there are underclassmen ready to step in next year. TV has no senior linemen playing. Next season they will have roughly 10 above average to great linemen. I still think TV can make some noise in R11 this year, but next year could be special.

Very good high school football game. Pretty even teams again this year. Yards were pretty even. Wallace, the TV running back was the difference. The last TD was actually a 6 yard run after Sheridan turned it over on downs . Right after a 40 yard completion was negated by a holding call. Probably a good call. The only holding call I can remember all night. Hmmm. Really a good rivalry with both teams doing things the right way.
