buddy I want whatever you are smoking. them trojans isn't no good like they was back in the day. the way they play football nowadays is just atrocious. Them Tigers know how to play football like Bob did. Powerful offense with a really good defense. Tigers by 35
Buddy them tigers aren’t gonna do anything this Friday, Tigers are overrated, I’m smoking that Tiger Pack

Do the Trojans play inspired football Friday night becomes the question.

This rivalry isn't getting the years it started right. The Ohsaa Has Ironton football starting in 1902. This isn't near right. Ironton started playing football in the late 1800s. Portsmouth was one of the teams they played. I talked to the AD about writing the OHSAA and getting the date right but no luck.

If Ironton is healthy I see then running the ball and burning the clock.
Portsmouth will come out fighting but don't think they have the horses to compete.

Game Day. Tough task to go into Ironton and beat Ironton when they are rolling on all cylinders. This one will get out of hand quick unfortunately. Hopefully Portsmouth comes out and plays hard anyways, don’t roll over for anyone, especially your rival. Go Trojans!

As a lifelong Tiger I look forward to the day we have a return of "The Trojan Explosion." ..

It's just a lot more exciting in general when Portsmouth is dangerous.

Miss those days when it was week 10 and Ironton and Portsmouth were ranked #1 and #2 respectfully.

Probably won’t happen anytime soon. These kids are being raised by parents who always had an excuse. Now they don’t know what it is to work for success, and everyone wants to run to Ironton to join forces with their challenger as opposed to putting in off season work to beat them. This new generation of kids are scared to face adversity so they run to smaller schools to play lesser competition, then beat their chest like they’ve accomplished something. Long gone are the days of seeing a rival school accomplish a feat you longed for, so you go hard in the weight room all off season with your brothers until you too accomplish that same feat. It’s a generation of soft parents raising even softer kids.

Tigers looking half asleep right now. Fired Up Fridays or whatever, still shouldn’t be playing like this. Hope they can wake up a bit.
