We’re too busy drinking our sorrows away after going 5-4 and placing third in the Hocking.

While I agree with you, I think there is still some good things to look forward too. I think we can win this game and get some momentum going. A couple of bad breaks this season has kept us from being 8-1 or 7-2 imo.

I can’t really speak on the game with Elgin, because I don’t know anything about them other than looking at their schedule. I’m hoping the strength of schedule the Cats played prepared them for this game. While 5-4 ain’t too terrible with the schedule they played, it would’ve been nice to get the Hocking title at least. That isn’t a shot a Waterford or Eastern either, because I see them going a couple to few rounds in the playoffs.

This is a winnable game for Trimble. Last year Elgin player at Fort Frye and they were the worst team we played all season it was 57-6. Maybe Elgin made some huge strides this year I haven’t heard much about them.

Those games can only make us better. Were in a much better place than this time last year, and we beat Nelsonville-York week one when no one gave us a shot. I think playing this schedule will help. Eastern and Waterford will make there own runs, respectively. Eastern is one of my favorites to win R27. I think we can make some noise in the playoffs. Just my two cents.

They run any type of special offense last year?

It was pass heavy but they didn’t get many first.

I’ve watched Trimble several times this year and they have the horses to win this game. They seem to start slow at times and that gets them in trouble at times. I watched them against Eastern and Trimble was easily the better team in my opinion but they started slow and it cost them in the end. They dominated Eastern in the second half and should have won that game. Does anyone know if they get any of their injured players back for tonight?

Trimble looked good against a quality opponent in an away game. Not having a place kicker could doom them however. They will need every point-after-touchdown they can get. Next week Northmor has a balanced offense, including long ball capability. Elgin couldn't pass at all. Northmor also has a kicker who's made 30+ yard field goals! This was the first time that I listened to a game broadcast on WSEO-FM. The announcers were very knowledgeable and listenable. Hold that rope!
