Not a lot since new Coach named. What’s the weight room looking like now?

Any chance our Falcons drop to DVI? Preliminary numbers has them right on the edge of what was V and VI last cycle.

For the last cycle 2020-2024 Minford’s boys enrollment was 167. For the next cycle their enrollment is projected to be 156, but that number dependent on final count in spring of 24 and the competitive balance number. So that number will definitely change. These numbers came from ohsaa website. Ohsaa has the breakdown for all seven divisions in football D5 is 205-158 d6 is 157-115.

Minford dropping to D6 would be a huge boost for their program and new coach. But like Valley91 said, final count and CB number still out there, and they are right on the edge. Gotta think any competitive balance addition whatsoever would keep them in D5. West (161 boys) and Northwest (155 boys) are also right on the D5/D6 line as well.*

Best I can tell last cycle they had a CB of 9. Not sure if that’s about where they would be again or not. If so I doubt they drop to DVI.

Looks to be a good coaching staff being assembled in Minford.

Couple solid former head coaches on staff from what I seen, one associated with Fairland, then Gifford who was at East/SP.

Young coach looks like he's off to a good start with these hires. Rooting for Minford to get the football program righted out there.*

Honestly, he should be rubbing people the wrong way. You can’t keep the status quo and expect the program to improve. The whole system needs torn down all the way down to pee wee and rebuilt.

Not to diminish a players ability but he was not a QB. He is very fast but he shot puts the ball and if he leaves the team because the Coach wont commit to him or Daddy then that is Dads problem not the Coach or teams problem. Parents are ruining Kids because of their egos.

And I just keep hearing the opposite. QB is on board at whatever position is needed. Also, community is optimistic that with the staff he’s assembling there will be real improvement. Give him some time. And as others said if he’s rubbing a few wrong then good. It’s about time some of those parents got rubbed the wrong way.
