artest to lakers reported on espn radio this morning. espn also said the lakers were close to resigning arriza who was talking about coming to the cavs. more to come on arriza.

artest is a very good pickup for the lakers in my opinion. i look for the lakers to be more aggressive in getting rid of odom.

houston is toast. artest leaves. yao ming is out for next season and possibly done forever with his foot injury. i dont think they're even a playoff team anymore.

Memphis gets Jerry Stackhouse.
As Q101 noted, Shawn Marion goes to Dallas. Mavs also get Greg Buckner, Kris Humphries and Nathan Jawai.
Memphis gets a 2nd round pick and cash from Toronto and cash from Dallas.
Orlando gets cash from Memphis and Toronto.
