Mayweather vs Pacquiao

This match should have been made years ago, but Mayweather kept stonewalling.Manny has seen his better days and is on the decline and probably would have won years ago when it should have been fought when both fighters were younger.Mayweather has weathered the aging process better so I think he wins going away and will finish his career undefeated.

Can't wait to see this. Fight of the century. Don't get any better than this in the boxing world. Aging process won't matter in this long awaited bout. Heard tickets for this huge event sold out very quick. Less than a minute they was saying.

Yep tickets sold out in seconds at over 100,000 a pop for a ring side seat, they only made 1000 tickets available to the public.Wasn't many of them to be had.Most of them went to the fighters camps,promoters, casinos and sponsors.They plan on making most their money from pay per view at about 100 per view.You watching it live trench? I will wait and watch it on you tube when somebody puts it on there.I can watch it live, but the site is not good quality with a lot of pop up adds to deal with. :122247 Who you got trench?

Nope, I'm not watching it live. Way out of my budget.

I'll watch it later like you say but I can't wait to see it. Not sure if HBO will show it later or not, be cool if they did. Don't know who I'm going with yet Bolt, haven't made up my mind but they both will be ready at a drop of a hat.

I find it laughable people call this the fight of the century since boxing after 1999 has been a complete joke. Best fighters are in MMA now

I noticed boxing went downhill as soon as they started making the big fights pay per view. The other big sports better not try this or it could happen to them .Used to be you could see them on ABC'S Wide World of Sports,showing my age a little on that one

Old Ali was always on there it seemed.

I used to watch boxing a lot ......but gave up on it when too many beaten fighters were handed the win.

Ole BJ was ALI crazy Bolt. He had a tiny miniature statue of him. It's still out there on the ridge somewhere.

I am surprised he liked him so much considering Ali was such a showboat and refused to serve his country in war,but he had something about him people just couldn't resist.I know I didn't like him back then.I always hope somebody would knock him out, but I respect him now compared to some of these fighters today.

Ah yes my friend but I remember those fights being PPV but you had to go to the theatre to see it. Wide World had the fight on TV MONTHS later. But boxing was relevant then and there was only one title. Now, it's a dying sport. This is the last hurrah and I just don't give a damm.

That was so long ago I must have forgot they were on delay lol,all I know is everybody could watch them on a normal channel without having to go purchase all these premium pay channels like you do today.Thank goodness for youtube! Also agree there are too many titles

At one time it wasn't up to a fighter or managers to say if they would fight for a title. You would be given so much time for a fight or even a rematch and if it didn't happen you could have your championship stripped.

A lot of people think Ali's reason for not going to the army was because he was Muslim, but part of it was how he was treated when he return after winning his gold metal. The metal became worthless to him after that and he threw it in the river in Louisville.

I read that story about him throwing that medal in the river might not be true true,some think he lost it instead and they actually gave him another one as a replacement.

On live TV back years ago right after Ali hung up the gloves he was ask about the medal and his answer was -----------" you read my book."

This fight should have happened years ago but Mayweather ran from Manny.

Hoping Manny wins but expecting a Mayweather victory.

I have no plans on paying to watch this.

Too bad you can't get channel 124 Bolt (ESNCL). Watching it now. But watched it as a youngster with BJ AND JK. ALI VS JOE FRAZIER in their third meeting "THE THRILLA IN MANILA" 1975". ALI won the brutal battle with a TKO.

Another 1975 bout on now Bolt. Cool stuff, hype fights before the biggy this evening. Ali VS Chuck Wepner. Big White guy. Ali scored a 15th round knockout just 16 seconds from the final bell.
