I liked some of what the Browns did. They did not put in a full game. Like against the Titans. Where they got a big lead in the first half. Only to let them back in the second half. Have to finish games as a team. The very good teams that advance in the playoffs have FG kickers they can count on. The Ravens have the best and they know he can make up when they come short. To many penalties. There for a while looked like the past teams making mistakes all over. Takes time to learn to win and win the big games. Even though limited fans there. It was rocking.

Then the last play. Just throw the darn ball as far as you can and hope for the best. As they did the end of the first half.

Maybe an easy fix for the Browns to finish. The whole team needs to take VIAGRA so they can finish and not come up short.

That was a tough pill to swallow. Can't blame the offense for this one. Outside of the pick they were moving the ball up and down the field all night. After that pick I thought welp thats all she wrote, like we have seen in so many years now since they came back. The offense fought back which was nice to see. Mayfield with another outstanding game, minus the pick of course,, which was a great play by the linebacker. When McSorley went down and I saw Jackson coming back out, I thought oh no here we go. Sure enough Browns defense couldn't handle him. Defense has to find a way to come up with some stops! Way too many blown coverages in the secondary leaving receivers running wide open. Missing Ward didn't help any. Need to contain runners like him in the pocket more, which is easier said then done. Good news is the offense is scoring points now and this game was much more competitive than the last time around thanks to the offense clicking on all cylinders now but the defense hasn't played well since the second half of the Titans game. Need to fix that if they want to win a game or two in the playoffs assuming they qualify.

Playoffs looking good, county! They are leading the wildcard pack and only need to win two of their next three to qualify from what I read. Even better is the schedule with the Giants, Jets and they finish with the Steelers. The Steelers game might have them resting their starters by then so more good news there. I would say they are a shoo in county, unless they have a total breakdown.

I was thinking the same thing but as farmer said a few posts ago. This is about the time they break our hearts.
But it feels different this time.

We are young. Very young. Did I read correctly that our oldest player on the starting roster is 29???

If so.....we stay healthy....these 4/5yrs as a browns fan coukd get real fun again....

This sounds weird, but it's nice to be disappointed by the outcome. In years passed, it was just "well, the Browns lost again". This one actually hurt, which is a good sign...lol!

I like the d-line, and Goodson. I want to like Wilson, but he was bad against the Ravens. The entire secondary needs re-tooled. Hopefully a healthy Delpit will help, and I really liked Harrison before he was hurt. I like Ward, being a former Buckeye and everything, but we're never going to get a full season out of him. It might be time to look at a trade with him, and move on from Terrance Mitchell. I actually like Kevin Johnson, he's a good tackler, and opposing teams aren't really throwing at him, so his coverage must be good as well. The Greedy Williams situation doesn't sound good, so who knows if he'll ever be a contributor...my guess is no.

I think a lot depends on what happens tomorrow night and week after to see if we play hard against the Steelers last game. If there’s a chance that #2 seed is up for grabs that last week. Surely we would go after it right ????

Or we resting starters no matter the last game ??

Colt McCoy, Ty Detmer, Jeff Garcia, Charlie Frye, Brady Quinn and Josh McCown are QBs that played for the Browns and came back to play against them.

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett has played in the last three games after missing two weeks with Covid-19, but he still isn't completely healthy. Garrett revealed after Sunday night's win over the Giants that it was still affecting him and he isn't sure when he can expect to be back to normal. He said he was just getting over a coughing spell from the locker room earlier. Taking those deep big breaths are tough right now with the shortness of breath and that turning into a cough or getting choked up. I just have to find a way.

Hopefully these aren’t permanent for his own sake.

Well if tonight is any indication the Brownies are looking really good against the Steelers. My oh my losing 10-0 to the hapless Bengals with their 3rd string QB. What is going on with those guys? I expect they'll wake up from their slumber any minute now but I would love it if they didn't.

Fingers crossed they continue to fall flat on their face.

Couldn’t happen to a better squad

I’ll root for the bengals when it don’t affect the browns in a negative manner. And for tonight. I’m all WHO DEY haha

John red corn.

Explain this to me partner.

The Steelers do end up loosing.

We win against the Jets.

Roll into the last week beat the Steelers

And we both end with the same amount of loses in the division and same overall record. Who wins the division??

Or am I missing something??
