You can hear it plain as day......

Reds suspended Tom.....how long the suspension was for or when and if he returns to the booth is unclear.....
Thom Brennaman, the Cincinnati Reds announcer who was caught on a hot mic using an anti-gay slur coming out of a commercial break, has resigned from his position with the team and Fox Sports Ohio. Brennaman released a statement saying: My family and I have decided that I am going to step away from my role as the television voice of the Cincinnati Reds, I would like to thank the Reds, Reds fans and the LGBTQ Community for the incredible support and grace they have shown my family and me. To this great city, my hometown, a sincere thank you. I truly regret what I said and I'm so very sorry. No one loves this town more than me.

Is he out permanently??

I would bet that he is out as far as the Reds and Fox Sports Ohio is concerned. Neither one would ever take the chance of using him again.

Yes, I assumed too....But I have not read anywhere that’s exactly what has been said. Out and never used again. I’ve read out. But never where the Reds or Fox Sports OH said they would never use him again. I really never red much about it, anywhere.

The National League East Champion Atlanta Braves wound up as the No-2 seed and will face Cincinnati in a best-of-three playoff series starting on Wednesday. All of the games will be played in Atlanta.

Tucker Barnhart and Eugenio Suarez had RBI singles during a three-run 10th inning, and the Cincinnati Reds beat the Minnesota Twins 5-3 Sunday in a regular season finale, that determined postseason matchups. Cincinnati (31-29) became the National Leagues seventh seed, and will play No-2 seed Atlanta in the first round starting Wednesday. The Reds were 15-21 after losing 16-2 to St Louis on September 1st. They went 16-8 to finish the regular season, and earn a playoff spot for the first time since 2013.

It makes absolutely no sense to me that the game is being played at 12? What are they thinking? Aren't making any money for tickets to the game. Why would they start this when everyone is at work or atleast the majority of people. wont be nearly as much viewers as they would have if they started it at like 6 or 7.

I like our chances in a 3-game series with the rotation of Bauer, Castillo, and Gray. The big question is whether the bats show up or not.

Yeah, the Reds team batting average for the just completed regular season was a robust .212. Dead last in the majors. The best average by a starter yesterday was Joey Votto's robust .226. Tragic waste of great pitching.

Can’t seem to put it all together.

As a franchise. It’s always good pieces of this. Terrible pieces of that. Then flip flop. Year in. Year out.

Again. I don’t know what is tougher. Being a Cleveland Browns fan. Or Cincinnati Reds. 🤦‍♂️

Some people would probably label us as being a " gluten for punishment " for being a fan of either one. Lol
