i think the sports writers need to calm down, we need to get to the playoffs before even thinking of a possible super bowl, i mean arent they the same people who said the reds would be in playoff contention?

anyways i believe the browns will be a 10-11 win team if the defense improves a bit. another thing that needs to happen is we have to win against teams with worse records than us, the raiders and bengals last year, and cant give up a lead, i believe they were up 20-6 on the Steelers in their 2nd matchup.

fingers crossed for a great season

Super Bowl sounds great but play-offs is more realistic. Anything can happen though!! AFC is really tough! This team is very young and building but have no play-off experience together and need to build one step at a time. I do like their odds of winning the division but they play in a very tough division where anything can happen, even the bottom 2 teams (Cinci and Baltimore) are solid teams that are capable of beating almost anyone. D must improve especially the DBs. I think the off-season moves will help the run d and free up the LBs for the passing game more this year whether it be pressuring the QB or dropping into coverage. Schedule is very very tough and like posted earlier they must beat the lesser quality teams b/c most of the games are going to be tough! 10 or 11 wins but this year I think 10 gets us in, depending on how we play the Steelers. This team has to find a way to win close games rather than lose in the end. We lost close games in every way possible last year.

legend, I have no idea what they were smoking when they said the Reds would be in the play-offs. May be a few years before that happens unless they make some serious moves!

Browns win the division with 10-6 record. Steelers left out at 8-8. Difference- They split regular season games but Browns beat up Denver and Buffalo while Steelers lose to San Diego and New England.

The first team did have a bad time. But no one in the afc north is looking really great right now . Injuries are starting to rise. Cinci getting hit hard and cleveland. ravens have there problems . Pitt probley has the least injuries. Cinci is thinking about re-signinng henry .

Bengals are the same missing chad,tj,caldwell, maxwell . All 4 starting wide outs. Rudi with a hamstring problem again. Bengals have even said they would trade rudi for a wide out. Not looking good for bengals and browns right now. Injurie bug has a big bite on them .

Browns always start a little slow at beganing of season and get better as they play . There still picked to win afc central. I think they will come on strong after a few weeks.

The Browns have a good shot at winning the division but I think they will lose the division verly to the Steelers. The Browns will still get a wild card
