Mister B, I know it's early but this is our official Pens thread for the year.Badger Bob coined that famous phrase in his first and only year as Penguins coach.As you know he made the most of that year by winning the franchises first Stanley Cup..And in about a month the quest will begin again under new leadership.

The puck drops this Thursday night at 7 as we start the Mike Johnston era vs the Mighty Ducks in our home and season opener.

Pens looked better in their last pre-season game as they down the Red Wings 2-0.

Don't know about you but Mike Johnston reminds me of a Herb Brooks/ Badger Bob Johnson combo in his coaching style and some of his mannerism's.Maybe he will be the right fit for this organization into the future.

Disappointing game to watch. We had a 3-1 lead with 2:55 to go and Detroit scores 2 goals in less than 2 minutes to force OT.

They score the winning goal with less than 50 seconds left in OT.
