It's really not even close! They have 92 points, the second closest is Calgary with 79. And they are throttling the Jackets right now.

The 5-1 final score really doesn't tell the story. Blue Jackets had the advantage in 1st period, 20 shots on goal and winning 17 of 20 faceoffs...2 Kutcherov goals late in the 1st were killer. He also had 3 assists.

Yeah, that's the positive way to look at it lol. I love my Blue Jackets.

Tampa Bay is just on a whole other level than anyone else in the NHL.

Blue Jackets will get in imo...unless they decide to trade Panarin or Bobovskiy. Gotta be a sweetheart deal for me to pull the trigger. Best of luck from a Lightning fan!!

Tampa up 3-0 on Flyers late in 1st. Backup on goal and Point has a night off...our main D guy Hedman nursing a lower body injury...probably miss one more game.

It was a 50/50 week for the Jackets. After losing to Tampa Bay (5-1) and Montreal (3-2), then then picked up two wins against Ottawa (3-0) and San Jose (4-0).

The Jackets made two big trades this week before the deadline to try and make a solid playoff push.

They acquired Matt Duchene from Ottawa in exchange for Vitaly Abramov, Johnathan Davidsson and Julius Bergman.

Then yesterday, they completed a trade with Ottawa yet again. CBJ received Ryan Dzingel and a 2019 7th round pick in exchange for Anthony Duclair, a 2020 2nd round pick and a 2021 2nd round pick.

It was a rough week for the Jackets to say the least. They went 1-3 with their only victory coming as an overtime win of 4-3 over Philadelphia. They lost to Pittsburgh (5-2), Edmonton (4-0) and Winnipeg (5-2).
