Pro Football Hall of Famer Bobby Mitchell dies at 84

Few of you will remember Bobby Mitchell but he was a gifted wide receiver and kick returner for the Cleveland Browns from 1958 to 1961. Although he is best known as a Washington Redskin, Mitchell brought speed to what was then a rather lackluster NFL passing game. I always wondered how good the Browns could have been if Mitchell had been able to team with Paul Warfield.

I remember reading quite a bit about Bobby Michell and the years that he was with the Browns. He really was thought of as one of the fastest running backs in the NFL when he was a member of the Browns.
