In the first report that I saw, it didn't specify the length of the contract, which is now being reported as 4 years. It very well could be that all rookie contracts are for 4yr.

With Joe Burrow agreeing to a deal today, this leaves only Tee Higgins out of Clemson, and the Bengals 2nd Rd and 33rd over-all pick in this years draft, as the only draft pick unsigned. Higgins is a wide receiver, about 6'2", 198 lb, and should be in play for a chance to see a lot of playing time as a rookie this year, if not even secure a starting spot. I won't be a bit surprised if Higgins signs his first NFL contract pretty soon as well.

The Cincinnati Bengals 2nd Rd pick Tee Higgins, has just a few hours after Joe Burrow agreed to a deal with the Bengals, has signed his rookie deal with the Bengals. He has signed a 4 year, 8.6 million dollar contract. I assume it is probably also pending a physical. He is out of Clemson and is a pretty physical wide receiver, I had him listed at 6'2" earlier, but they are saying now that he is 6'4". The Bengals entire 2020 draft has either signed or agreed to their rookie deals.

The Bengals are expected to sign veteran QB Brandon Allen. Allen is in Cincinnati for a physical and Covid-19 testing, and if all goes well the team will probably sign him this week-end. Allen, 27, knows coach Zak Taylors offense from his time with the Rams. He would provide a veteran presence behind Joe Burrow, and help the #1 overall draft pick indigesting the offense and reading NFL defenses. The Jacksonville Jaguars made Allen a 6th Rd pick in 2016. He made 3 starts, his only career NFL action for the Denver Bronco's in 2019, and had a 1-2 record.

Bengals coach Zak Taylor did everything but name Joe Burrow as the teams starting QB today. Taylor said that Burrow will receive plenty of opportunities to play in the season opener against the Los Angles Chargers. We're going to put a lot on Joe right out of the gate. Joe's going to walk in and take the first snaps at QB, he's prepared for that. The Bengals drafted Burrow because of their confidence in him and what he brings to the team. We picked him because we've got high expectations for Joe, and from everything I know about him and have seen from him, he's got high expectations for himself. I feel as if he's going to do everything he can to put himself in a position to be successful as well.

The Cincinnati Bengals today waived defensive tackle Ryan Glasgow. ( Failed Physical ) Glasgow, a forth-year player, was originally a 4th Rd pick of the Bengals in 2017. He played in 24 career games ( Three as a Starter ) during his time in Cincinnati, and recorded 41 tackles.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green signed his franchise tender on Fri, which means that he will report to training camp on time. The 7-time Pro Bowler has been plagued by injuries in recent seasons. He missed all of 2019 with ankle issue's. Green believes that he is still an elite player in this league, but also knows that he needs to stay healthy if he's going to reestablish himself as one of the NFL's best. Green will turn 32 tomorrow, and said that he can't wait to take the field with his teammates. It could take a little time for them to get on the same page since they haven't worked out together, but the Bengals offense should be fun to watch this season.

The Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Josh Tupow has decided to opt out of the 2020 NFL season. The 345 lb defensive tackle made 7 starts in his 16 appearances for the Bengals last season, recording 27 tackles, 3 TFL and 1 forced fumble. The Bengals spent big money to bring in defensive tackle, D.J. Reader, to pare next to Geno Adkins at DT, but could always use a pure run stuffing specialist like Tupow on the roster.

I think the heading for this article should be : How a former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker helped build the home of the NBA's bubble. Nobody could have known at the time, but in one of the roughly 20 scrapbooks in Reggie Williams den in his house in Florida, there's a picture of Williams and former NBA commissioner David Stern, standing on the midcourt logo at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, which wasn't open yet. Williams recalls talking to Stern about the possibility of the NBA playing at the innovative facility. That vision is fully realized as the NBA resumes it's season this week inside the complex that is spread over 225 acres. The place was built on big dreams, said the 65 yr old Williams, who started working for Disney, which owns ESPN, in 1993 and was the vice president of Didney Sports Attractions when he retired in 2007.

Former Bengal Pro Bowler T.J. Houshmandzadeh believes Joe Burrow will have a positive impact on the players around him, including the offensive line. Houshmandzadeh said I don't care how great a coach is, the players still have to execute. If you don't have a guy that can execute what needs to be done, it doesn't matter what's being called.

Bengals QB Joe Burrow says that Peyton Manning has given him a lot of different advice. Burrow said that the superstar agreed that the situation that he entered with Indy in1998 is similar to the one that the Heisman Trophy winner inherits in Cincinnati. I couldn't have appreciated that more, Burrow said. Manning took about an hour of his own time and explained the in's and out's of what he went through. Burrow said that Manning just gave him a lot of different advice.

The Denver Broncos have given former Ohio State tight end Jeff Heuerman his release. He is one of the good guys in the league, and the fact that he is an excellent blocking tight end, I would love to see the Bengals pick him up. We all know the problems that the Bengals have had with there offensive line the past couple years, I think that it would be a good gamble to give him a shot. He was a 3rd Rd pick in 2015, he had a torn ACL his first year, but then recovered and had a good 4 yr after that. The fact that there are 7 more TE on the roster as we speak, and the fact that he was due to make over 4 million this year, just could be the telling tale. The fact that we are talking about former Buckeyes, today the Miami Dolphins placed former Buckeye LB Jerome Baker on their Reserve/Covid-19 list. Also the Jacksonville Jaguars have also placed former Buckeye Davon Hamilton on the Reserve/Covid-19 list as well.

Former Oklahoma standout defensive back Rickey Dixon, as well as a former defensive back for the Cincinnati Bengals, has passed away. Dixon, who was 53 yr old, had battled ALS over the final years of his life. After being the 5th overall pick in the 1988 NFL draft, Dixon spent 5 seasons with the Bengals. He has been a prominent figure in the class-action concussions lawsuit against the NFL. Dixon was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2019.

Apparently Joe Burrow has bought a house a couple weeks ago on Cincinnati's eastern edge. The house hunting it seems, had been confined to the driveway of his old Ohio State buddy, Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard, one of his new neighbors.

Burrow said that since the NFL draft, that you can only watch so many episodes of Law and Order before it gets old, said Burrow of getting out of his parents basement in Athens, Ohio. After leafing through his new contract and handing it over to Katie Blackburn, he didn't hesitate when asked which signing was harder, the contract or the new house ? Burrow said the house, leaving no question. That may be a tougher transition than this one, It kind of feels weird to own a house, that's all I can really say about it.

With Joe Burrow just buying a house a short time ago, I just read where Andy Dalton and his wife Jordan have there home in Cincinnati up for sale. I have seen a picture of the home, and it is a large beautiful home. The Daltons have the five bedroom, 4.5 bathroom, three car garage listed at 2.5 million. Dalton played his college ball at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas, but lives in Dallas.

Former Cincinnati Bengals running back Jeremy Hill got off to a promising start to his NFL career with the Bengals. After injuries derailed him in 2018, he's attempting a comeback this year. He has signed with the Las Vegas Raiders ahead of training camp. The Bengals selected Hill out of LSU in the 2nd Rd of the 2014 NFL draft.

Bengals rookie QB Joe Burrow isn't shy about accepting the expectations thrust upon his shoulders this offseason. If and when the season begins, the Bengals want the top overall pick in the 2020 draft to come and be successful immediately. In his first news conference since the Bengals selected him, Burrow said he shares the same aspirations in his first season in the NFL. Going into my rookie year I expect to play well and I expect to win a lot of games. If I look back now, I'm doing myself a disservice and the team a disservice. Burrow said that it feels great to immediately have the trust of the coaching staff. Burrow did confirm the fact that he has the chance to throw to rookie WR Tee Higgin's. I'm really excited about Tee, I think that he's going to be a really, really great player for us.
