Cleveland's 20 game winning streak against the Detroit Tigers finally came to a halt Friday night, as the Tigers beat the Tribe 10-5. It also ended a 9 game overall losing streak this year for the Tigers. The last time they had beaten the Tribe was back on April 10th, 2019. Rookie Isaac Paredes's grand slam helped propel the Tigers to their win.

If that was a spot start, well it was a spot start that should leave a lasting impression with the people who make the decisions with the Indians. Triston McKenzie in his big league debut Saturday night struck out 10 batters in 6 high velocity innings against the Tigers. He made 2 mistakes, one of which he had no control over, but everything turned out fine. McKenzie allowed a first pitch home-run to his former minor league teammate Willie Castro, and he debuted on a night where the Indians feast or famine offense was on a hunger strike. At least that's what it looked like until the 6th inning when the Tribe scored 4 runs on the way to a 6-1 win over the Tigers.

Tarik Skubal and Daniel Norris combined to pitch 6 innings of one run ball, Miguel Cabrere drove in two and the Detroit Tigers hit 3 home runs to help beat the Cleveland Indians 7-4 on Sunday. Norris said that obviously they knew about the streak coming in here, so winning the series is huge.

Indians manager Terry Francona remains in the Cleveland Clinic after a procedure on Friday, and the team announced Monday that he will not be with the team for the next three games against the Minnesota Twins at Progressive Field. Sandy Alomar Jr. will remain as acting manager.

The bat was still in Francisco Lindor's hands when he turned to his dugout, screaming "Lets Go". The Tribe trailed by one entering the bottom of the 6th inning. After Shane Bieber's 3rd straight double-digit strikeout performance, Lindor put his team back on top with a two-run blast that helped the Tribe to a 4-2 victory over Minnesota on Tuesday night.

It may take Cleveland manager Terry Francona a little longer than he'd like to rejoin the Indians, but according to President of Baseball Operations Chris Antonetti the outlook is bright. The Indians released more details regarding Francona's condition on Tuesday, explaining that doctors at the Cleveland Clinic found clots in his blood that required a last minute procedure on Friday to insert a stent to help his blood flow. Terry is in the process of recovering from that, the outlook is obviously very good, but he's a little banged up from the procedure.

A go ahead RBI double by Tyler Naquin in the eighth inning sparked a three run inning that lifted Cleveland to a 6-3 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday night. It was just the second time this season that the Tribe secured a win after trailing through seven innings.

The Cleveland Indians have traded Mike Clevinger to the San Diego Padres. Maybe the Cleveland GM has a set of you know what after all. I don't think that a lot of the Tribe players trusted him for a few obvious reasons after what happened in Chicago earlier in the season. It wouldn't bother me if they made a move with the other player as well.

The Cleveland Indians got another excellent start from pitcher Shane Bieber on Monday night, as he went six innings striking out nine, but the Royals rallied against the Tribe's bullpen in the 8th inning and beat the Indians 2-1 for the Tribe's 2nd loss in a row.

Two day's after the deadline, 23 year old Triston McKenzie showed in the Tribes 5-0 victory over the Royals, that his first start was more than beginners luck. He had struck out 10 batters in 6 innings in his debut, and tonight he tossed 6 scoreless innings, with 3 hits allowed, no walks and 6 strikeouts. He more than got enough support from Tyler Naquin tonight, as Naquin hit a two-run homerun in the second inning, and then followed with a three-run homerun in the 9th inning.

Oscar Mercado led off the bottom of the Ninth inning with a double off Josh Hader. Despite having a five-man infield, Cesar Hernandez squeezed a single through the left side to bring home Mercado in the Tribes first walk-off of the year with a 4-3 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.

Brady Singer's bid at history turned to heartbreak in one pitch. I had all the confidence in the world we were going to see it happen, said Royals manager Mike Matheny. Singer allowed just one hit, a two-out single to Austin Hedges through an infield shift in the 8th inning, as he led Kansas City to a 11-1 win over the Cleveland Indians on Thursday night.

The Cleveland Indians are most certainly headed in the wrong direction, as they lost their 6th straight game Sunday, losing to the Minnesota Twins 7-5. Nelson Cruz hit his 16th home-run to help the Twins sweep the week-end series from the Tribe.
