The Lightning hold on for a 3-2 win, tying the series at 1 apiece.

The final 20 minutes went back and forth. In the last 10 minutes Tampa played tough D, with Vasilevskiy cleaning up any shots.

Total shots...Tampa 31 Dallas 29

Alot of credit to Khudobin for the Stars. He has taken away the bottom third of the goal from Tampa. Still waiting for Tampa Bay to play a complete game...lots of stuff to work on before game 3 on Wednesday. The Lightning power play worked tonight...still need to take quick shots and stop the extra passes.

Dallas interim head coach Rick Bowness was with Tampa Bay from 2013-2018. Tampa Bay winger Blake Coleman was born and raised in Plano, Tx and grew up a huge Stars fan.

No word on Stamkos returning.....yet. Stay tuned on that one...he will play...my guess is Friday or Saturday night. As I mentioned earlier....he had surgery on a core muscle a few months ago.

Palat gets a rebound from a Brayden Point shot and puts the puck past Khudobin at 18:55. 5-1 Tampa Bay after 2.

This was the best period for the Bolts in playoffs...imho. Their fore checking was spot on in the period as they had 20 shots on goal while holding the Stars to 4. After 2 periods...shots on goal are: Dallas 20 Tampa Bay 28

Point now is the leading goal scorer with 11 and I believe him and Kucherov are tied for points in the playoffs. Palat and Hedman both have 10 goals in the playoffs as Kuch has been an assist machine the entire playoffs.

One period to go.....Stamkos was skating during TV timeouts...hopefully he will be okay.

And the Lightning take a 2-1 series lead with a well-earned 5-2 win. Victor Hedman lead the way with a goal and 2 assists. Point and Kucherov and a goal and an assist each.
Stamkos had a goal on his only shot of the game. Just guessing he got dinged and Cooper kept him out????

Almost puck drop time...

No Stamkos. Listed as day to day (That being said...aren't we all day to day). Dallas will throw everything at Vasilevskiy...Tampa Bay has to keep doing the same to Khudobin. And stop the stoopid penalty stuff!!. No cute passes.
