It's not often that a team can replace it's injured starting running back with one that just recently won the NFL rushing title. The Browns luxury is that they do have Kareem Hunt, who just a short time ago led the NFL in rushing while a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. Hunt told reporters that he was a man on a mission, saying that he didnt get to play a full season last year or the year before, and that he just wants to be able to finish out a full season and prove to everyone that he can play with the best of the best.

The Browns took to the practice field Wednesday without it's starting defensive tackle tandem, though they did welcome back a key defensive reserve. Both Sheldon Richardson (thigh) and Larry Ogunjobi (oblique) did not practice on Wednesday. They were joined on the sideline by reserve LB Tae Davis, who has missed a considerable amount of time the last couple weeks with an elbow injury. The Browns did get a return from top reserve defensive end Adrian Clayborn. Also, CB Greedy Williams did not appear on any injury updates as still being out, as he has yet to take the field after suffering a shoulder injury in training camp.

I like His mentality. Hopefully he doesn’t do anything stupid to get himself in trouble. He’s going to get a legit shot to carry the load with Chubb out.

The Cleveland Browns will activate tight end David Njoku for Sundays game against the Colts. Njoku returned to practice this week and was a full participant for each practice. He has not played since Week one when he made three catches for 50 yards and a touchdown before spraining his knee. H has spent three weeks on injured reserve.

Still signs of not a good football team. When you have teams 2/3scores down. You have to finish

We seem to get sloppy and care free once we get up.

The Cleveland Browns No-3 quarterback is headed back to Texas. The Dallas Cowboys have signed Garrett Gilbert off of the Browns practice squad. Gilbert played his college ball at University of Texas, which probably makes him very happy to be returning back to Texas. It's the second week in a row that the Cowboys have signed a Browns player off of their practice squad, as last week they signed offensive tackle Greg Senat, who had been on the Browns protected list all year. Dallas is taking advantage of the window between the end of the game on Sunday, and the start of the protection window, which is Tuesday for any team that plays on Sunday. Teams can protect up to four practice squad players per week, but they are capable of being signed away in that time frame.

The Cleveland Browns have filled a couple of vacant positions on the teams practice squad on Tuesday. The Browns announced it has signed tight end Jordon Franks and offensive tackle Timon Parris to the 16-man practice squad. Franks and Parris both are familiar with a couple of the Browns coaches, as Franks played in Cincinnati under Browns offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt in 2018-2019, where as Parris was on the Washington Football Team in 2018-2019, where he was coached by now-Browns offensive line coach Bill Callahan.

Having a good QB to run scout team is a very important. It helps the team prepare for games. Teams getting players off the Browns shows they picked good players as well as what others think of the Browns coaching.

The Steelers game will show what kind of team the Browns are. Not only how they play but if they feed into the crap from last year. This is a part of the Browns being able to take the step up to a good team.

With Chubb out for a while the rumor is the Browns will bring in Bell to play against the Steelers. This comes from a great source since I just thought of it. LOL Even if he was used as a returner.

After a couple of recent defections and promotions, the Cleveland Browns protected list on the Week-6 practice squad looks different than the recent editions. With RB Dontrell Hilliard now on the active 53 man roster, and both OT Greg Senat and QB Garrett Gilbert signed by the Cowboys to their 53-man roster, the Browns had to find some new players to protect from other teams signing them away. The Browns protected list for Week 6 is as follows: S-Elijah Benton, DT-Joey Ivie, RB-John Kelly and PK-Matt McCrane.

Faced with an opening on the active roster with CB Greedy Williams going on injured reserve, the Cleveland Browns chose to promote from within. The Browns signed cornerback Robert Jackson off the teams practice squad and to the active 53-man roster. Jackson has seen this move before, as the CB has bounced between the Browns active roster and practice squad in 2019, and has been with the team for the last two seasons in some capacity.

I hope we can stay flowing. We need to get better at finishing teams when we have the opportunity to finish a team. Big Ben and the 4-0 Steelers won’t be so kind to our hearts.

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said that wide receiver Odell Beckham was sent home from the teams facility because he is feeling ill. He's just feeling under the weather, so this is an abundance of caution. Beckham has played very well during the teams four-game winning streak. Friday will bring an update about Beckham's health, and a clearer idea about whether his illness could impact his availability for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Browns while faced with a short roster after losing QB Garrett Gilbert to the Dallas Cowboys earlier in the week, have signed another QB to their practice squad. They signed QB Kyle Lauletta, who was a fourth-round draft pick of the New York Giants in 2018 out of Richmond. He has spent time with the Giants, Eagles and most recently the Atlanta Falcons.

With Browns safety Ronnie Harrison out due to a concussion, and safety Karl Joseph out with a hamstring injury, the Browns needed to replace him on the roster. They are doing so by calling up Elijah Benton from the practice squad for the first time this year. The rules allow up to two players on the practice squad to be called up, and then be sent back down without being subject to waivers.

This game is easy to dissect! Pitts is totally dominating the line of scrimmage! Mayfield playing hurt not helping but I don't think it would really matter. Brownies will have to be satisfied again being third best in the division.

Little brother couldn't catch up to the play of big brother. Brings the Browns back to reality that they must show up and play. The talk of Garrett being the NFL Defensive player of the year should stop. Oh well how will the Browns respond net week???

We said before today's game in Pittsburgh that QB baker Mayfield might not be able to finish the game, and it turns out he didn't. Mayfield came out of the game in the 3rd Qtr. with the Browns trailing the Steelers 31-7. Mayfield's stats for the day was 10 of 18 completions for 119 yards, one touchdown pass, ( on blown coverage ) 2 interceptions ( which you can always count on), and 4 sacks. Case Keenum finished the game for the Browns, who turned in a very disappointing performance in one of their biggest games in years. I wish they would let Keenum play a little, there's no way he could be any worse than Mayfield, but I also know that will not happen.
