Anyone watching any games?

I admit my interest in MLB baseball has increased because of the Red's decent start and grandson's involvement in youth baseball. That said, my desire to watch a game start to finish is lacking. Also my access in a non MLB market to watch a MLB game that I might be interested in is limited by what I am willing to pay for streaming services.

When home I have watched at least one game a day. I have a few times have had a game on TV and one on the net using one of the free sites that has all of the games on it.

I was able to watch the Reds/Indians game yesterday. Shane Bieber is pitching himself out of Cleveland.

Agree! They're just a farm team prepping their best players for the big money market boys. Baseball is so unfair for the little guys. Kind of reminds me of the NBA where they let the best players move around to a few teams and the other teams are just schedule fillers

Slumping slugger Pujols cut by Angels

ANAHEIM, Calif. — Albert Pujols was cut by the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday, abruptly ending the 41-year-old superstar slugger's decade with his second major league team.

The Angels surprisingly announced the move to designate Pujols for assignment one day after he wasn't in the lineup for the slumping club's fourth consecutive loss. The decision was made after Pujols, dissatisfied with irregular playing time, had a late-night meeting with general manager Perry Minasian and team president John Carpino.

Pujols, who is batting .198 this season, is determined to play first base regularly for another team after he clears waivers, Angels manager Joe Maddon said. Pujols is fifth in major league history with 667 career homers and 13th with 3,253 hits.

“He wants to play, and he wants to be in the field,” Maddon said. “Hopefully he’s going to get that opportunity somewhere else, and believe me, we’re all going to be rooting for him.”

Will his landing spot be where he started, St Louis? Then again his bad wheels might keep him in the AL due to the DH

MLB tells Athletics to explore relocation if no new ballpark

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Major League Baseball instructed the Athletics to explore relocation options as the team tries to secure a new waterfront ballpark it hopes will keep the club in Oakland long-term.

MLB released a statement Tuesday expressing its longtime determination that the current Coliseum site is “not a viable option for the future vision of baseball.”

If there is nothing exciting on the field there is always news of rich men trying to extort tax money for new stadia.

Future HOFamer Alex Pujols signs with the Dodgers. That gives Pujols a chance to retire with dignity and the Dodgers get a pinch hitter/dh (against the AL) with some power.

Has MLB killed hitting?

There have been six no hitters thrown and the composite MLB batting average stands at only .234 What gives?

Indians have had to work hard to get the wins over Baltimore. Love seeing Bradly having success.

With Cleveland being as bad as they are I have been watching a lot of other games and have to say it has been nice to see some national league games.

Trying to watch the All-Star Game. First game this year watching ( hopefully the whole game.) Not a fan of their All-Star uniforms. Would rather have the players wear their regular uniforms.
