There are more awards to announce, but there are a pair that I missed from a week or more ago. The Platinum Glove award for both leagues was awarded. For the American League, Carlos Correa of the Houston Astros earned the award as the AL's best player with the glove.

In the National League, Nolan Arenado captured the Platinum Glove. The St. Louis Cardinal third baseman has again been awarded as the best overall glove man in the NL.

The Comeback Player of the Year awards were announced earlier this week. In the American League, a very well-deserving Trey Mancini of the Baltimore Orioles earned the award. After missing the entire 2020 season while undergoing treatment for colon cancer, Mancini returned this year to have a stellar season.

In the National League, Buster Posey claimed the Comeback Player of the Year award, shortly after announcing his retirement. Posey opted not to play in the 2020 season due to concerns with COVID-19, returned in 2021 to have one of his best seasons.

One final award has been given for the 2021 season. Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Angels has been named the Most Outstanding Designated Hitter, which is no surprise to anybody.
