Reds won!! Tyler Stephenson with a nice game. Double header today, next game is in about an hour. Possibly 2 wins in 1 day?

Votto is on a no-trade clause so he cannot be traded unless he requests it, which is not something he is going to do. If he wanted out, it would've been before now! lol!
He loves Cincinnati, our owners just haven't provided him the proper tools to get that ring.

His contract is through the end of next season with a team option for 2024

Glad to see the Reds finally get a series W! Colin Moran with a big help yesterday tallying a career high 6 RBI's against his former squad.

Luis Castillo will be making his 2022 debut this evening against the Brew Crew, hoping for success!
Would like to see bigger names like Votto, India and Senzel make their way back into the lineup this week. Maybe we can string something together and pick back up a few more wins!

Best get something now rather than losing them to free agency without anything in return.

Reds tried to rally back last night but ultimately lost to the Brewers 5-4. The last week the Reds have at least been competitive, not as hard to watch lol. 12:35 game today against the Brewers, Gutierrez and his 0-5 record 8.86 era more walks than strikeouts will be pitching for the Reds. Lol

Reds team ERA is 6.61, almost two runs per game worse than anybody else in MLB.

There are very few bright spots this year for the Reds so far. One of those is definitely Tyler Stephenson. Hopefully the Reds lock him up for a long time when his contract expires.

Stephenson playing phenomenal after returning from the IL! Seeing the ball very well and being the infield leader from behind the dish. He has a huge future ahead of him! Hope the Reds are smart and keep him around for the long haul.

Reds are winners of 5/7 games this past week with back to back series wins! Started off rough but maybe can string a few things together here and get some games back, never know!

India, Votto and Senzel hopefully all coming back within the next week or so, should help bring some juice back to this team! Having the DH is nice too so we can keep hot bats in the lineup. Moran and Drury turning it up as of late! Drury IMO has earned the 3B position over Moose - seeing the ball well and has the team high 6 HR

Injury updates for the Reds organization:

-Reports say that Senzel, India and Votto may all require rehab assignments upon their returns (I'm sure Louisville Bats locals are excited) however I'd hate for Votto to miss the series in Toronto as I'm sure he'd love to make a return to his home country!

-Lucas Sims hits the 15 day IL yesterday with a bulging disc in his back. Feel for Sims, he just can't seem to stay on the field. Wonder if it's issues with him or the medical staff?

-May 10, Mike Minor heads to AAA for a rehab assignment so should rejoin the ball club after this week I'd imagine if all goes well

-Barrero has resumed swinging in batting cages, still no word of a date when he will return

-Solano is still experiencing difficulties with his injuries so I don't see him being back anytime soon still
