Iowa Cubs (Cubs) 2 Columbus Clippers (Indians) 1

Pitching dominated this contest.

Ben Brown (High School: Ward Melville, East Setauket, NY) started for the Cubs making his first triple A start. He goes 5 2/3 innings allowing three hits, allowing two base on balls, with seven strikeouts.

Gavin Williams ( East Carolina) got the start for Cleveland. He topped out at 100 MPH. He lasted 5 innings, allowing one hit, walking one, with five strikeouts.

Bailey Horn 1-0 (Auburn) went one scoreless inning to pick up the win.

Manuel Rodriguez SV 4 (Merida, Yucatan, Mexico) picked up the save. He went one hitless inning and struck out all three batters he faced.

Touki Toussaint 1-1 took the loss.

Jake Slaughter (Louisiana State) hit his third bomb of the season and had 1RBI.

Miles Mastrobuoni (Nevada) drove in a run with one base hit.

Zac Collins (Nevada) had a hit and drove in his 26th run of the season.

Tulsa Drillers (Dodgers) 4 San Antonio Missions (San Diego) 0 7innings

The Drillers drilled the Missions in game one of their double header on Friday.

Jose Ramos (Chepo, Panama) blasted his sixth dinger of the season and drove in his 12th RBI.

Imanil Vargas (Bonao, Dominican Republic) had a hit and drove in two.

Johnny DeLuca (Oregon) added a hit and drove in one.

As a team the Drillers had 5 stolen bases.

San Antonio had just three hits.

WP 2-1 Emmet Sheehan (Boston College) He went five and struck out eight with zero walks.

Leigh Valley Iron Pigs (Philly) 5 Syracuse Mets (Mets) 1 7 Innings

Símon Muzziotti (Cumana, Venezuela) had two hits to go with 2RBI to lead the Pigs. He now has 24RBI.

Jordan Qsar (Pepperdine) knocked in two to give him 16RBI this season.

Dustin Peterson (High School: Gilbert, Gilbert, AZ) went hitless but did have 1RBI.

DJ Stewart (Florida State) blasted his sixth homer of the season in a losing cause.

Omaha Storm Chasers (Royals) 11 Louisville Bats 9

Logan Porter (Dixie State, UT), CJ Alexander (State College of Florida), Angelo Castellano (San Diego, Venezuela), and Tucker Bradley (Georgia) each had 2RBI. Bradley led the 12 hit attack of the Storm Chasers with three. Castellano had his third bomb of the season.

For the Bats, Matt McLain (UCLA) blasted his ninth dinger of the season. He totaled three hits and 3RBI. He now has 32RBI this season.

Elly De La Cruz (Sabana Grande de Boya, Dominican Republic) blasted his 2nd bomb of the season. He had two hits with 1RBI.

Catcher Chuckie Robinson (Southern Mississippi) had a hit and drove in two runs.

T.J. Hopkins (South Carolina) had two hits and drove in a run.

Jason Vosler (Northeastern) and Alejo Lopez (High School: Greenway, Phoenix, AZ) each knocked in a run.

Elly De La Cruz((Sabana Grande de Boya, Dominican Republic) homered for the 2nd straight game to lead the bats. He totaled 2RBI.

Catcher Jhonny Pereda (San Juan, Venezuela) had a hit and totaled 2RBI on the night.

For Omaha, Jakson Reetz (High School: Norris, Firth, NE) and Franmil Reyes (Palenque, Dominican Republic) each homered to account for all of the runs the team scored.

The River Bats used some timely hitting to knock off the Clippers.

Matt McLain (UCLA) Hit his 11th bomb of the season driving in a run.

Christian Encarnacion-Strand (Oklahoma State) knocked in two runs.

Shortstop and future super-star Elly De La Cruz (Sabana Grande de Boya, Dominican Republic) added 1RBI.

For Columbus, Zack Collins (Miami) had the only RBI.

Richie Palacios (Townson) had two hits.

For the Clippers, recently sent down from Cleveland, Oscar Gonzalez (Sabana Grande de Palenque, Dominican Republic) had three hits and 2RBI.

Columbus used a grand slam from Zack Collins (Miami) his eighth bomb of the year the 4RBI gives him 35 this season. He has to be getting the call to light hitting Cleveland soon.

Brayan Rocchio (Caracas, Venezuela) had three hits and drove in a run. He also scored twice.

Bo Naylor (High School: Saint Joan of Arc, Mississauga, ON) drove in a run.

For the Bats, Elly De La Cruz (Sabana Grande de Boya, Dominican Republic) and Michael Siani (High School: William Penn, Philadelphia, PA) each drove in a run.

WP 2-1 Jhan Romero (Cartagena, Colombia) He threw two scoreless innings.

Buffalo Bison 7 (Toronto) Syracuse Mets 6 (Toronto)

The Bison had to come from behind again to win this one.

Rafael Lantigua (Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic) led the game off with his third bomb of the season. He would end his day going 2-4 with a walk and 3RBI. Leading the Bison in the win.

Jamie Ritchie (Belmont), Tanner Morris (Virginia), and Cam Eden (California) each totaled two hits and 1RBI. They are the 7,8, and 9 hitters in the lineup.

Major league veteran Rob Brantly (UC Riverside) played first base and he too had 1RBI. Going 1-4.

For the Mets, Ronny Mauricio (San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic) blasted his 7th homer of the season. He would go 305 on the day with the 1RBI.

DJ Stewart (Florida State) Also blasted his 7th bomb and he would have 3RBI.

Gary Sánchez ( Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) had a hit and a RBI. H also worked the base on balls.

Abraham Almonte (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) would have 1 RBI to go with one base on balls.

The Clippers trailed 9-1 after six innings.

Bo Naylor (High School: Saint Joan of Arc, Mississauga, ON) went yard twice (9) totaled two hits and drove in four the lead Columbus.

Jhonkensy Noel (San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic) also had two hits and drove in two. As did number nine hitter, Daniel Schneemann (Brigham Young).

The Clippers had five other players drive in a run a piece.

For the Bats, Christian Encarnacion-Strand (Oklahoma State) and Michael Siani (High School: William Penn, Philadelphia, PA) each went yard. For Strand it was his 9th dinger of the season and for Siani it was number 5.

Matt Reynolds (Arkansas) had 4RBI and Matt McLain (UCLA) had three.

Josh Naylor led the weak hitting Cleveland offense with his sixth bomb of the season and his third in he series. Naylor would go 2-4 on the day with 3RBI.

Taylor Ward (Fresno State) led the L.A. offense with two hits and 1RBI.

SV (14) Emmanuel Clase (He did give up 2 more earned runs in his inning of work).

Johnny Butler (North Carolina State) and Max Muncy (Thousand Oaks, Thousand Oaks, CA) blasted solo home runs to give the Lugnuts the 2-0 lead in the first, from there Lansing never looked back in posting the win. For Butler it was bomb #2 and for Muncy #4. Muncy had 2RBI and Butler one. Jack Winkler (San Francisco) add 1RBI as did Danny Bautista Jr. Bautista and Butler had two hits.

For Lake County, Will Bartlett (IMG Academy, Bradenton, FL) had both RBI.

The Blue Claws clawed their way to a five run 2nd and never looked back in posting the win.

Kendall Simmons (High School: Tattnall Square, Macon, GA) went yard (#5) as did Rixon Wingrove (# 7)( Newcastle, NSW, Australia). Wingrove had 1RBI to go with three hits. while Simmons totaled three RBI. Nick Ward (West Chester, PA) had a hit and 3RBI. Number nine hitter Wilfredo Flores (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) had three hits and drove in a run. Also for the winners, Casey Martin had a hit and 1RBI.

For the Blue Rocks, James Woods (High School: IMG Academy, Bradenton, FL) led the way with 2RBI. Jacob Young (Florida) and Erick Mejia (Villa Mella, Dominican Republic) each had a RBI. Lead off man, Viander Pena (Azua, Dominican Republic) had a three hit game.

The River Bandits built a 5-1 lead after falling behind 1-0, then held on for the one-run win.
Kale Emshoff (Arkansas-Little Rock) went yard for the third time this season. He went 2-4 on the day with one run batted in. River Town (Dallas Baptist) had a hit with 2RBI. Number nine hitter,Enrique Valdez San Pedro de Macoris had two hits and 1RBI.

For Wisconsin, Jose Acosta (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) went yard for the first time this season, and he drove in two. Also going yard was Robert Morre (Arkansas) (3), a solo dinger.

Eric Brown (Coastal Carolina) was held hitless from the lead-off spot, but he did drive in a run.

The 66ers had eight hits in the win.
Catcher Brendan Tinsman (Wake Forest had two of them to lead that category.
Matt Coutney (Old Dominion) had his first triple of the season and drove in a run.

The Hammerheads pounded out twelve hits led by, Chase Luttrell (Long Beach State) 3 hits and 1RBI. Brett Roberts (Florida State) had 1 hit to go with 3RBI. Jorge Caballero added 2 hits with 1RBI.

For Bradenton, Shalin Polanco (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) went yard for the sixth time this season. He had 1RBI.
