time for the buckeyes to suite up one more time.....hopefully they come out like they did against MSU and show the country they made a mistake by leaving the BIG10 champs out of the play-off........

I really don't see it being that important. Since we have the CFP and players starting to sit out, these bowl games don't mean much of anything anymore. They're fun for us to watch, but that's about it. It should be more about getting younger players time against a good team to help prepare for next year!

Neither team has any players sitting out bait. Should be a dandy, but I think the Bucks will finally break this long losing streak against the Trojans.

There are/were rumors that Denzel Ward may sit out. He is with the team and was spotted at a practice open to media. Meyer has neither confirmed or denied. I am sure he will play but you never know in this day and age. He may make a token appearance then yield to Oduka.

Per 11W, Denzel Ward did not participate in the pre game warmups for the Cotton Bowl.

Apparently Ward scratched himself at the last minute. Disappointing in the team sense but I cannot condemn him for protecting his future earnings.

i Wonder if #12 would have said I don’t think I’ll play in the Cotton Bowl vs USC in high school? Disappointing

Scouts and agents start talking to you and your family. They dangle $5 million in front of your nose. Hard to turn down.

Play the dang game...I don’t care. You play for your teammates. We will agree to disagree on this one. Pretty sure my parents wouldn’t let me think of it nor let me let my team down. I call selfish.

I agree with 123xxx, this a new flashy trend I don't like, they been making millions for years and it never stopped them until now. The game means nothing to the players anymore, got to be all about them.

I understand why they do it, but I do not like it either. With the playoffs, the non CFP bowls are meaningless. It is going to happen more and more. Even Urban Meyer is not in a position to criticise Ward since he uses the OSU is your ticket to the NFL spiel in recruiting.
