Won the Championship game in walkoff grand slam fashion! Record as of now is 47-11. National Rankings come out tomorrow, and on Friday the 14th seedings will be announced for the first round of regionals.

Rio played Regional play in Florida this past week. Rio won the opening game vs Faulkner (Alabama). Rio then lost game two of regionals to the #1 seed Embry Riddle (Florida), who is also ranked 8th in the Nation by a score of 4-3. Rio was then beat in the third game by St.Thomas (Florida) 7-6 in 10 innings. Rio ended with a final record of 48-13 and ranked 25th in the Nation.
