Coach Tubby Smith watched his you High Point (6-16, 3-6) got almost seven minutes before scoring their first points of the game and then waited until a little over four minutes left in the game before taking their first lead. The last four minutes was back and fourth, with Panthers holding on for the Big South lead. Campbell (11-10, 2-7) went ice cold in the 2nd half as they opted to shoot the long ball with little success allowing high point to go on a 19-6 run (I believe that was the correct amount). Freshman John-Michael Wright (Fayetteville, NC) led the winners with 30 points, 6 boards and 2 assists. Jamal Wright (Upper Marlboro, MD) came off of the bench to add 10 points for the winners. For Campbell, Jordan Whitfield (Raleigh, NC) led the way with 12. Campbell hit over 50% in the first half but ended the game hitting just 37.7%.
