The fact is.. Michigan wanted this win way more. Ohio State could not stop the run. And Michigan's O and D Line totally dominated. Not Much more to say but TTUN deserved to win that game.

Hail To The Victors!

Michigan physically dominated the Buckeyes in a 42-27 upset in The Game.

Michigan's defensive line owned the Buckeye offensive line. They stuffed the run, allowing the Wolverines back seven to keep OSU's talented wide outs in front of them, preventing the big scoring play.

Conversely UM's offense line plowed the way for 297 rushing yards, led by Hassan Haskins's 169 yards and 5 TD's on the ground. Shades of Biakabutuka's performance against the Bucks in 1995.

Michigan QB Cade McNamara was effective in keeping the Buckeye defense off balance with 13 of 19 passing for 159 yards. The Michigan offense rolled up 487 yards in total offense.

For Ohio State, I was impressed with CJ Stroud. He showed grit under pressure, completing 34 of 49 for 394 yards and two touchdowns. The Buckeye down fall on offense was the running game and penalties. Ohio State only rushed for 64 net yards and shot themselves in the foot with 10 penalties, wasting a lot of their 458 yards in total offense.

Again, all credit goes to Michigan. They simply kicked Ohio State's ass. Michigan advances to the Big 10 championship game and figure to win and advance to the college playoffs.

For the Buckeyes, hopefully this beat down will allow the program to do some soul searching about their physicality. They struggled all year running and stopping the run against teams with a pulse such as Oregon, Penn State, and Michigan

The Buckeyes finish the regular season at 10-2, out of the playoffs but with a chance at the Rose Bowl if Michigan wins next week. Still is good season for OSU.

As for the Michigan win, it may have been needed to rekindle the rivalry. After dominating the last two decades in the series, the law of averages caught up with OSU.

With this win UM does not get rid of Harbaugh. So OSU can beat him for years again.
This loss goes to show OSU has to play better on defense and get the OLine to dominate. Good my cousin drove up from Columbus to be in the UM student section. His team won and I hope he got cold.

I think Jimmy took a subtle shot at Day after the game. He been waiting on that for awhile. I bet Day is fuming at Jimmy. Some of the college gameday people were speculating Day would leave O-State for the Chicago Bears to help develop Fields but I don't see it. Corso was sure he would. Herbstreit said no way.

Turning point of this game was the opening series of the second half. Bucks come out and run three stupid running plays for 6 yards instead of being aggressive down the field and go three and out. Michigan then scored in two plays. Bucks never recovered after that.

Another one would be after the Buckeyes got the score to 28-20.

Wolverines went right down the field to make it 35-20.
