If any of the young SE District baseball prospects are looking at Akron...............Look elsewhere. They are cutting the baseball program along with 215 university employee positions. Huge financial problems ad the new Pres is "cracking down" while his entire family and in-laws are staying in a hotel while the presidents mansion is being renovated.

Saw today that they laid off the entire performing arts department.

Also heard the same day all the layoffs went down , they signed a $800K contract for all the freshmen to have "Life Coaches" to help their graduation and retention rate.
