North Dakota State (11-2) had little trouble in moving on in the playoffs by defeating Samford (11-2) tonight on ESPN2 by the count of 27-9. Cam Miller (Solon, IA) 15-18, 194 yards, with 1 touchdown pass led the offense for the winners. He also rushed 12 times for 41 yards and a touchdown. Joe Stoffel had a touchdown catch with 3 total catches for 60 yards. For Samford, Chandler Smith (Marietta, Ga) had a receiving touchdown on 6 catches and 120 yards.
