Rio Grande names Mike Bartrum as new head coach

Meigs alum and Marshall Hall of Famer Mike Bartrum has been hired to head the Red Storm for their sophomore season.

With his NFL and NCAA connections, plus his SE Ohio roots, this is a no brainer for me. He's got his work cut out for him, but if anyone can do it, it's Bartrum. Will be interesting to see who he puts on his staff and where he starts recruiting.

i think the first staff were sacrificial lambs. everybody knew it would be a rough start for the program and having somebody else take the whipping protects the rep of Meigs' fave son
