Michigan wins game one of the CWS Finals last night, 7-4. They play again tonight at 7pm. If Michigan wins, they are the national champions. If Vanderbilt wins, they play a game 3 tomorrow.

Vandy won last night 4-1...too many miscues by Ann Arbor...and that kid Rocker is pretty darn good also.

Game 3 for all the marbles tonight at 7 pm.

Competing at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska, second ranked Vanderbilt has claimed the national title in D1 baseball, their 2nd in program history and their first since 2014. After losing the first game of the final, Vanderbilt stormed back to win the next two with dominant pitching and solid offense. After finishing the regular season ranked 2nd in the nation, here is their path to the national title:

vs. Ohio State - W 8-2
vs. Indiana State - W 8-5
vs. Indiana State - W 12-1

vs. Duke - L 18-5
vs. Duke - W 3-0
vs. Duke - W 13-2

vs. Louisville - W 3-1
vs. Mississippi State - W 6-3
vs. Louisville - W 3-2

vs. Michigan - L 7-4
vs. Michigan - W 4-1
vs. Michigan - W 8-2
