Very hard to overcome a 17-3 deficit at the start of the game, let alone on the road and against one of the better Big 10 teams. Hope I'm wrong, but I look for about the same result this weekend against Maryland.

One thing is for sure, all the teams that make the tournament from the Big Ten will be battle tested. By far the deepest conference in the nation.

I certainly could not argue with you about the strength of the Big 10 conference overall. I read where D.J. Carlton has returned to school to resume his classes, whether or not he returns this year to the basketball team is still to be determined.

And 27-8 at the halfway point of 1st. Dayton is the best team in Ohio...this year.

I really hope that I get to come on here and say how wrong I was when saying that I didn't think that the Buckeyes were playing well enough to be able to beat Maryland later today. At this point of the season I just don't see them beating the better teams in the Big 10.

Nos...1....2.....4....7...and 9 all lose. How high does #5 Dayton and #8 FSU go? #1 Baylor will not drop much....Gonzaga and San Diego St. should drop a few spots.....imho

I was very wrong, I'm very happy to be able to say that, just didn't think they could beat Maryland.

Any news on how long that Young might be out, to me when he's healthy he's the hardest working player on the team. Even though D.J. Carlton is back on campus at OSU taking classes, I will be surprised if he even try's to return to the team this season. Without he and Young either one being available, it certainly hurts the rotation going forward.

I'd imagine he'll miss at least one game. Thought he was in a boot.

Buckeyes with a pretty convincing 75-54 win tonight against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Nebraska not one of the better Big 10 teams, but yet it was a good Big 10 road win.

A very decisive road win for the Buckeyes tonight in Lincoln, defeating Nebraska 75-54. This one was never in doubt, as the Buckeyes held onto a 43-27 lead at the halftime break. Kaleb Wesson had a monster game for OSU, tallying 16 points and 18 rebounds. CJ Walker scored 15 points, while Duane Washington Jr broke into double digits with 14 points. Leading the way for the Cornhuskers was Dachon Burke with 13 points.

Next up, Ohio State has a huge one, as they host rival Michigan on Sunday afternoon.

I think the Buckeyes can win this game, if they can somewhat stop Simpson from going to the basket each and every time down the floor.

Walker (15pts, 7ast , 6reb) Washington (20pts, 5/7 from 3) and the Buckeyes continue to be on 🔥🔥. Playing short-handed with mostly a 6 man rotation, Ohio State turned up the heat from behind the arc (11/21) to shut down the Wolverines in the second half. Sweeping the season series with a 77-63 win!

Pts-Ast-Reb:
Washington 20-3-6 (5/7 from 3)
Walker 15-7-6
A Wesson 14-1-2 (2/3 from 3)
K Wesson 14-0-9 (4/5 from 3)
Muhammad 10-1-3
Liddell 4-1-4

I think this may be there 20 th win of the season, and any win over Michigan is as good or better than 2 wins over anyone else.

Need Young, Carton, and Gaffney back soon for tournament depth. But the Bucks are looking dangerous without them.

OSU is looking really solid. I would be shocked if Carton returns this year. Gaffney could provide some depth, but he won't really play much at all. The big one in my opinion is Young. He should be back soon, haven't heard anything yet. He is an absolute game change with his effort and hustle. You don't see that from many players any more.
