Will not be easy against the Hawkeyes, Iowa always a problem for the Lady Buckeyes either at home or away.

No surprise at all to me in losing at Iowa. Maryland will not be easy either, even though it's at home.

No surprise at all to me in losing to Maryland, one of the better and more consistent Girls teams in the Big 10 each and every year.

It seems as if the Buckeyes (15-9) are starting to hit their stride, as they defeated visiting Minnesota (15-10) by a final score of 99-76 on Thursday night. After the first quarter, the two teams were even at 24 each, but after that, the Buckeyes ran away with this one. Madison Greene had a huge game for OSU with 25 points and 9 rebounds. Jacy Sheldon tallied 19 points for OSU. Leading the way for the Gophers was Jasmine Powell with a solid 21 points.

Next up, Ohio State will put their win streak on the line when they travel to #20 Indiana on Sunday.

The Lady Buckeyes may still be a little inconsistent at times, but I think the young talent is there, and next year they just may be a very hard team to beat. There Head coach has always been an outstanding recruiter, but at times it didn't really show that on the court. In the past few years, they could always light it up on offense, but didn't seem to me as if they placed as much importance on playing defense.

Six straight victories for the Buckeyes, as they defeated Nebraska on Wednesday night, 65-52, in Value City Arena. After the first quarter, the game was tied at 12, then OSU balled out to lead by 20 heading into the fourth quarter. Nebraska produced a nice final quarter, but were unable to do much more than make the final score respectable.

Dorka Juhasz had a mammoth game for the Buckeyes with 16 points and 16 rebounds. Kate Cain led the Cornhuskers with 13 points and 9 rebounds.

Next up, Ohio State will travel to Rutgers on Saturday afternoon, where they'll play the Knights the only time this season.
