The Buckeyes wrapped up their season series against #8 Ball State this past Saturday, falling to the Cardinals 3-1 (26-24; 25-16; 23-25; 25-22). It was a tough season for the Buckeyes against the Cardinals, losing both their matches. A 13 point performance from Jacob Pasteur led the way for OSU, while BSU was led by 17.5 points from Angelos Mandilaris.

Next up, Ohio State heads to the Western portion of the MIVA. They'll play at Lindenwood on Friday, and play at Quincy on Saturday.

Last weekend, the Buckeyes wrapped up their regular season on the road, and were able to clinch a spot in the MIVA Tournament. In their first match of the weekend, they traveled to Fort Wayne, to take on the Mastodons of Purdue Fort Wayne, where they pulled out a 3-2 (25-21; 20-25; 26-28; 27-25; 15-12) victory.

Then on Saturday, they traveled one more state over to take on #11 Loyola Chicago, where they were able to shutout the Ramblers for a 3-0 (25-17; 25-17; 25-21) victory.

That victory put them in the MIVA Tournament this weekend. On Saturday night they traveled back to Illinois to take on #13 Lewis in the MIVA Quarterfinals. Ultimately the Buckeyes' season ended, but not without a fight, as they fell 3-2 (19-25; 27-29; 25-23; 25-19; 15-10). After two sets, OSU was hoping they had this one in the bag, but the Flyers never gave up and completed a comeback after trailing 0-2.
