I would be remiss without mentioning that a plane crash in Lafayette, La. killed 5 people...one of them was Carley McCord, 30 yrs young. She worked for WDSU-TV in New Orleans and covered LSU...the Saints...and the NBA Pelicans.

She was the daughter-in-law of LSU offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger.

May she and all those who perished rest in peace. Also thoughts and prayers for the lone survivor who is in critical condition in Lafayette.

To all of their families...may God comfort all of you and give you peace and strength in days to come.
