I'd like to see a Southern School come play at OSU, Mich, Penn St. or Wisconsin in the middle of
November

I jus't dont think skinny Jacory Harris is gonna be able to withstand the constant beating this Buckeye defense is gonna put on him. After this game these doubters of this Buckeyes team and defense in particular are gonna be shut up quick. This Defense is ver fast and very athletic. FREAKISHLY good. Miami won't reach 80 yards on the ground as a team. Under 300 total yards.
And the offense? Well Pryor is going to be the man to beat in the Heisman race after this game, HUGE game from Pryor. He goes fo 250+ and at least 2 TD's in the air. Sain goes for 75+ and Berry chips in 60+ with Herron getting 40+.

THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY-31

Miami-17

Can someone tell me why they were saving the time out before the half?

It's all about the........WHO?

That Harris is a bum! okay he ain't that bad but he isn't all they talked him up to be!
OSY should have won by 2 more scores and Tress has to do something about Special Teams. The D looked good and Pryor did a great job, he only made a couple mistakes. The Bucks will be back to work tomorrow getting ready for Ohio!

Ohio State was by far the better team. Aside from the 2 bone head special team break downs, Ohio Stae dominated this game. The defense was good as always. Gave up some yards but played well and made big plays. The offense moved the ball very efficiently against a good defense. I'd like to see them capitalize more on td's rather than fg's when their that close. Pryor played very well and balanced. 27 passes and 20 rushes is the kindof balance pryor consistantly needs to accomodate his abilities. Overall is was happy with the bucks and gettin a good win over a quality opponet.

On a side note. I respect Tressels class as a coach but I wish he woulda stuck one more in the endzone right there at the end of the game to push the score over 40 lol

Just got in from the game. Great environment, but not quite the feeling as THE GAME in 06.

What about the ACC? Anyone that says the ACC is a good football conference is a fool after todays blunders!

As i said before the ACC is a bad conference and Miami was way overated.....Point proven today ,come up here and play all the time and they would be a middle of the pack team.

That they would! Va Tech and Ga Tech would be bottom of the barrel this year. I think our lower teams, outside of Minnesota, would dominated them too.

See what happens when speed gets hit in the mouth .If not for the special teams they would have only scored ten points.Once again point proven

No one wants to talk about how awesome the ACC is now! I wonder why?

For all of us rabid Buckeyes that want to say that if not for special teams, we'd have blown them out.
That might be true.

BUT, if not for Jacory Harris's 4 picks, Miami might have won the game also.

That's the way the ball bounces sometime, glad we were on the winning side.

Now that I got that crap out of my mouth.

The Buckeyes beat the heck out of Miami all game long, the receivers got a bad case of Alligator arms after the first
couple of drives, and the Buckeyes were able to get enough pressure to Harris with only rushing 4-5 guys that he threw 4 picks.

The defense was lights out the whole time that they were asked to be.
Miami couldn't move the ball on the ground and Harris became color blind, and in the end
couldn't even see a 287 pound defensive end backing off into coverage.

Miami got yards late in the game, when the Buckeyes were rushing 3 and dropping 8.
The Defense played "Tressel ball" once they were up 2 scores with a quarter left.
Keep the ball in front, loose zones, and tighten up near the red zone.
AND IT WORKED!

Miami did a relatively good job at keeping the Buckeyes out of the endzone too.
We had to kick 6 field goals, and made 5 of them.
Miami should thank God that they have a good redzone defense, or it would have been UGLY.

Special Teams used to be a hallmark of the Tressel Way, what the hell happened.
I take solace in knowing that this was the fastest team we'll play all year, and 2 returns for touchdowns
shouldn't happen again. The short kick offs, while annoying as heck, were working though.
I imagine it will be a long week for the kick coverage team.

With OU, EMU, Illinois, and Indiana, all before our next test, most of our problems should be fixed for Wisconsin.
Stay healthy, and stay dominate.

I had a great time at the game yesterday.
I do feel a little bit sorry for any Miami fan who wasn't in the north endzone haven for hurricanes.
That includes TTK.

I know the two that were in our section were getting hammered pretty bad.

They did bring it on themselves though. They stood up and pounded their chests pretty hard
after the punt return for touchdown. Once they did that, I knew they were meat for the rest of the game.
Needless to say, they were silenced, but my need to seek council for any emotional trama.
