I couldn't care less about this one unless the roof fell in on the game. Alabama vs. the last team Woody coached against? Meh!

The Greatest College Football Program of all Time from college football's Greatest Conference attempting to win their 4th title in 7 years against An-ultra talented Squad who is attempting to do the unthinkable and be a perfect 15-0!! :) Wow!..What a matchup!! At least on paper.! Hopefully it will be a game for the ages. The Hammer Henry and those talented Recievers. An experienced Offensive line with a QB who has really played efficient the last 10 games. A defensive line that is the most talented and deepest I have ever seen in college football. Grown men with potentially 6-8 NFL players up front!! Experienced and faster Lbs in Ragland and Reuben Foster and the edge kids they use in their get after the QB game. Athletic in the secondary with the young kids and the veterans Jackson and Jones. Griffith and Scott are experieced kickers.
Clemson has to run DW in their run schemes. He may get hammered some. He probably doesnt weigh 195 now. But they have to run him and they will. Galman will give them hell also. Better than most backs in this country. Scott and Ray-Ray on jet sweeps. DW will get down when he is in Harms Way. Smart and athletic! But the key will be how they throw it. Have to take a couple shots down field every qtr. Tide is playing a lot more man than they ever have and are vulnerable to the deep ball. Peake,Artavis Scott, and back tonight is their top downfield threat in Deon Kane. Unless he smokes weed before the game! Watson can really throw it but his Wideouts and TE Leggett have to get separation. Defensively MAlexander and Ridley is going to be a great matchup. Clemsons DBs are not the most physical kids in the world but a couple long 6"5 kids back there who cover a lot of ground. Boulware and the LBs are physical and their front is talented but not extremely deep so they are going to need some help from Lawson.

ROLL TIDE and GO TIGERS.....Easily the 2 top teams in College Football this year and matching up as it should be!! Just as The BCS would have had it!

Nothing to do with how tough the overrated SEC is anytime with me, but I hope Clemson wins.. But I'm the betting type and don't go with want my heart wants, so I'm still going with Bama. BUT, GO CLEMSON!!!!!!

I think it's hilarious ESPN is trying to play this as 2005 USC vs Texas. 2005 USC would beat 2016 Alabama 52-21. Hell are worst linebacker was Clay Mattews lol

The underrated QB comes through again! Would rather have seen Clemson win ,but was happy for him after the journey he went through.Saban didn't look too happy after that gatorade bath . They almost looked bored at the awards ceremony.

And you admitted you are a HOMER and you said you cant help it. Thats the 1st step to recovery. But...I dont care and Nobody I know cares about the Ironton Tigers and their Tiger paw and their Tiger alley and that dump they played in or anything else.....I am a Waverly fan
And you don't towards OSU  Ironton has most of the time came out on top over Logan. Use to dislike the Tigers but after talking to many Tiger fans I have tons of respect for the Tigers. Bait might be on his first step of recovery but we can see you are not. Bait is well respected on here and in time you will see that.
Yes he certainly is! And the 2002 game was ever bit as exciting if not more! O H!

Indeed an entertaining game. Bama capitalized on the one turn over and the on side kick while Watson carried Clemson on his back. Congrats to both teams. The Committee chose the top two well.

Now that the season is over, here are my top players in FBS this year:

1.) McCaffrey
2.) Elliott
3.) Watson
4.) Henry

McCaffrey is just an amazing player that can do everything. Zeke plays as well without the ball as he does with it. Great hands make him an excellent receiver out of the backfield as well.

Watson played a great game last night. Probably the best dual QB in college football this year. Not much support as his #1 target is a walk on freshman.

Henry- I know he had 150 yards in the big game last night, but he goes down so easy in the backfield for a guy his size and he isnt the greatest blocker. Several times Coker was sacked because Henry simply missed blocking assignments. He very rarely catches the ball out of the backfield and unless he gets a full head of steam at the LOS, he is not really effective. I am sure he will be a good short yardage back in the NFL but I dont see him being an every down NFL back. He just isnt quick enough and cant cut like McCaffrey and Zeke can.

Just my .02 cents. I wish they would wait until after the season to do the Heisman voting!

AS MUCH AS IT PAINS ME TO SAY THAT GAMEWAS AWESOME AND CONGRATULATIONS TO ALABAMA.
IN THE FINAL TOP 24 OHIO STATE WAS 4. IT WAS ALABAMA, CLEMSON, STANFORD, OHIO STATE. HONESTLY FOR MY FINAL THOUGHT HOW DO YOU PUT A 2 LOSS STANFORD OVER A 1 LOSS OHIO STATE.---I'M JUST SAYIN.

In the end, it doesnt matter.

There is the #1 team, then there are the teams that are proud to be in the top 5, then everyone else. One thing that it says is this...."Here are the top 4 teams after the smoke cleared". I would agree these 4 teams were the best in the country BEFORE the playoff committee selected the final 4 and its funny that is the way it shook out.

OSU had a great season this year. Its hard to think of what could have been without the QB controversy, the conservative play calling and the injuries. Corey Smith and Noah Brown were two big injuries and key players in the pre season offense.

The coaching staff will be better next year. They learned that you dont take the proverbial foot off the gas pedal. There will be many starting spots to fill but as we saw on the D Line in the Fiesta Bowl, they have more than capable players waiting in the wings.

I thought it was entertaining as well, the ratings were down a little from last year's championship, but better than the New Year's Eve games.

1) Henry
2)DW
3)CM
4) LFournette
Top 4 Offensive players in College football this year. Elliot is probably a 2nd round pick. Maybe. There were some great Duel threat QBs this year. TBoykin,SRussell,BMayfield,JDobbs,PMahomes,MWilliams,VAdams....But in the end they all pale in comparison to DWatson. Deshaun completed 30 balls to 7 different recievers. Hunter Renfrow caught 7 for 88. His other guys Peake,Leggett,Wayne Train,Brooks,Artavis, and Ray-Ray caught 23 balls for 307
I dont really think that most people would quite buy into Henry going down easy  ...Quick?... ....He will run a 4.45-4.49 at the combine. He is faster than the feed me guy at osu. He cuts and sees the field as well or better than feed me. Feed me does Get good body lean and runs behind his pads well. He cuts the perimeter and flat defenders well. But that is college.Catches the ball. But osu is not...well....Fournette is better than both of them. You are right red about CM

Alabama and THE SEC have been and still are the GOLD STANDARD of College Football. They have 4-5 teams in the SEC East that needs to get back on their game. There are 2-3 teams in THE SEC West that are kind of going through some Coaching travesty... Same with the Big 14.... osu always has recruited well even when the Reverend Senator was there and The Pontif has a bigger and better blueprint....Harbaugh is a truly Great football Coach..One of the best at any level...I admire Coach Fitzgerald...they are going to play. Same with Coach C at Wisky...Msu...Solid....Have to get PSU moving and Franklin IS NOT the guy...Mike Riley at Neb?..dont know...These programs need to elevate back to where they have been to get this Conference from being a weaksister...It could really be good. Iowa is a facade. The joke didnt work. Maryland is a sleeping Giant...But DJ Durkins?.. ..UnderArmour money
