Utah crushed California also last night. Not looking good for the PAC-10

Can somebody go out and get seopreps an argumentative and cocky Oregon fan for Christmas.

This Bowl prep has been quite boring.

Read the last post on the Las Vegas Bowl forum. Maybe that'll cheer ya up.

Here's a couple of nuggets of knowledge, since the discussion is slow.

Ohio State has 19, 10+ win seasons in their history.
Jim Tressel has coached 7 of those.
Woody and Earl, combined for 7.
Oregon has 5 of those 10+ win seasons, EVER!

Oregon has had 43 seasons in 115 years in which they failed to have a winning record
Ohio State has 15 in 120 years.

Oregon has 46 times in their history gained a winning % above .500
Ohio State has done this 95 times.

Oregon is 15-26 overall against Big 10 schools.
Ohio State is 50-25-2 against the Pac 10.

Oregon has finished in the AP top 25 a total of 9 times since 1936.
Ohio State has accomplished this feat 49 times in the same span.

Oregon is 0-7 overall against Ohio State!!!

Go Bucks, beat the Ducks

Some more things to consider, this time, from THIS Seasons stats:

A lot has been made of Oregon QB, Jeremiah Missoli, and the "Big Play" Duck offense.
Even more has been made of the "fact" that Ohio State can't throw the ball.

For what it's worth, Oregon averages just 23 more yards per game through the air than the Buckeyes.
Missoli, for all his explosiveness, only gets 34 more yards per game than Pryor. 11 Yards if you take out
the passing game difference.

In the exact same number of plays (400) throughout the exact same number of games (12).
Missoli has 190 more total yards than Pryor, 4 more touchdowns than Pryor.

Now, I've been told about how "explosive" Oregon is, and how "slow and inept" the Buckeyes offense is.
I think there needs to be a little more research done, than just watching a 30 second highlight clip on sports center.

screw the pac-10, buckeyes are finally gonna pull their heads of out their a***** and get a big win.

On there you'll find tons of PSU fans cheering on the Ducks, and busting on the Buckeyes.

Not many Ducks fans actually talking smack, it's mainly Penn state people wanting to make a
rivalry statement out of their relationship with OSU.

And this just goes to show the childish mindset of the PSU fans. I hope and root for every Big 10 team that makes it to a Bowl game. Its apparently the only way for the Big 10 to regain any respect of the BCS.

A 26-17 win over a team that almost everyone thought would roll right over the Buckeyes. Pryor looked really good today and the Bucks defense stepped up when they had to. Great win for the Bucks. 11-2 on the year and I think they said 44 wins for the seniors, the most all time.

Anyone who really knew anything about football and weren't swayed by the "sexiness" factor of the "flashy" Oregon offense knew OSU should win.
And no, it wasn't what I'd call a "pretty" win. I would have liked to have seen some TDs in the red zone instead of having to settle for FGs.

Here's a true Buckeye fan. This is my son, who is a freshman at tOSU this year. He shaved the hair on his belly into a Block O for Michigan week and then jumped into Mirror Lake without a shirt to show it off.

Makes a father proud, don't it. lol

Ohio State's Defense dominated, but the big story was Terrel Pryor. Where did he come from? I think that it was a beautiful win. Yeah, we didn't score touchdowns in the redzone but how in the world can you not give props to our defense?! Absolutely sick!
